상면여과기를 만들어 봤습니다.
8T라서 그런지 무게가 무겁습니다.
5T유리를 사용해서 제작하시면 큰 무리 없이 사용가능할 것으로 보입니다.

여과재 8L용량
처음 만들어서 좀 어설픕니다.
격벽유리는 사무실에 있는 막유리 5T 사용했구요.
유리집에서 정확하게 재단해서 만드시면 더 수월합니다.
10T이상 두께의 어항에 올려서 사용하시면 안전합니다.

개쩌네요...마지막 칸 출수되는 칸 수위 높이면 히터같은것도 넣을 수 있고 수상식물도 키울수 있을것같아요

선생님.. 섬프수조에 직접 유리 격벽을 하나 더 설치해야 하는 상황인데 이럴 경우에도 그냥 선생님이 하신 것처럼 유리 양 옆으로만 실리콘 쏘면 되는걸까요? 유리 단면엔 안 쏴도 되는지...!

1. No bracing - It's too dangerous. All of the weight are disbursed on the vertical sump's glass pieces. It'd be taking a toll on the silicone trying to hold it all together. 2. Water Level Too High - Any minor choke on the first sump chamber (usually sponge / wool easy to choke) will send the sump over flooding. And in this way the sump is actually sitting on the tank, the water will overflow out of the tank and dry out your tank - fish will die. - Consider building a sides and middle bracing on your fish tank. - Make the sump slight smaller so it sits on your side and middle bracing. This way any flood will send the water back into the tank - won't kill your fish if you're not at home.

If it choked, water would flow over the top of the divide into next compartment. No issue at all. Great design.

그때 만들었던 수조가 이렇게 활용되는군요. 제 경우는 상면여과기는 만들때 보다 청소하기가 더 빡쎈 기분이예요. ㅋㅋㅋ 유리라서 그런가 물 흐르는게 쉬원쉬원합니디.

You need to force the water to overflow from the top and out to the bottom so that the sediment is on the bottom and the clean water passes through the filter layer to the top so that the sediment does not be on top.

가운데 부분에 지지대를 달아 주어야 할 것 같아요 아무래고 무게 때문에 유리가 깨지거나 여과기가 터지면 물난리나요 ㅎㄷㄷ

네..유리 자체무게도 상당해서 보강수조나 10T 이상 수조에서만 사용가능 할것 같습니다.말씀하신대로 지지대 설치해 주면 더 좋구요. 아직 사용하고 있지는 않습니다. 사용하면 꼭 그렇게 하도록 하겠습니다. 감사합니다.

네. 유리라 그런지 무게가 많이나갑니다. 제가 만든건 8T 수조에 보강대 5T인데 실제작시 5T유리로 만들면 그나마 무게가 많이 줄어들것 같은데 포멕스로 만든것보다는 더 나갈겁니다.

저 무게를 어항이 버틸까??? 하고 계속 보게됐어요. 거기다가 오픈 누드 어항이시네요? ㄷㄷㄷ 장기간으로 봤을때 위에 따로 튼튼한 선반을 두고 거기다가 저 상면 여과기를 설치하면 더 좋을것도 같아요.

I would love to build a filter like that for my six footer...just an idea when cutting holes in glass. Use plastasine to make a well, it holds the liquid (cutting fluid) better

유리 상면은 개인적으론 비추입니다. 왜냐면 좀쓰다가 보면 물때도 장난 아니고 이끼에 분진까지....정말 부지런하지 않으면 쓰기 어렵다고 생각해요.

Hi there I have questions about intake side of sump: 1. What is the round looking pvc piece that you assembled which connects to the pump? 2. The U shape that you made for water to enter sump, does the connector piece in the middle reduce the size/flow of the pipe? Thanks, excellent overhead sump build.
