In this episode, Shen Yun perfomer/instructor William Li gives us a rundown of his action-packed schedule back at home base.
The day kickstarts with some pre-sunrise training as warmup. Then, Will and his company have classical Chinese dance training, followed by a tumbling session. During lunch break, Sam, Will and Co. attack homegrown ghost peppers-the ghost peppers get the last laugh. After a leisurely outdoor photoshoot, it's back to the physical stuff: tornado kicks and conditioning. The workday is wrapped up with one final rehearsal session. Will drives home and winds down with a typical Shen Yun member routine: meditation and readings on moral improvement. William finally hits the hay. Tomorrow's another epic day.

I was lucky enough to be gifted tickets by a kind stranger to see Shen Yun when I was chronically ill. It was one of the most incredible performances I’ve ever seen. The precision and perfection was out of this world.

Hie boys,or should I say Musketeers? My Son bought me tickets to see Shen Yun for my 70th Bday.IWe went to Eventim Hammersmith yesterday to see it.Ive seen many forms of dance over the years & ive always loved dance & wanted to be a dancer,but this is the only show that took me to another world,like an out of body experience.😉How I envy you all.Thankyou ❤️

As an ex-ballet dancer here in Europe, I found this video not only highly educational but as well as entertaining. Compared to western (classical)ballet which I trained for, I would say this is next level when it comes to creativity and challenges where the body is concerned.

The Royal Ballet would suck at tumbling. I wish I could study classical Chinese dance. I'm too old and I have the wrong body type.

@@agrandcanyonoffucksgiven2776 I grew up in Singapore where village and road side makeshift Chinese opera shows to commemorate gods' auspicious day were very common. The dances and the acrobatics shown here are pretty basic skills for the old days traditional opera.

I saw Shen Yun maybe 10 years ago and I was stunned and mesmerized. My staunched rugby mad father was captivated in awe and complimented the whole show as we all did. Just fantastic entertainment, and the costumes are stunning.

I saw Shen Yun for the first time yesterday in the Bay Area. What a beautiful show. I was so amazed how you all did these amazing tumbling moves and didn’t even make a sound when your feet touched the floor! I am going to see Shen Yun every year for the rest of my life. I loved it 😍 great work !

So, you begin with 300 kicks. Is that it? 😳 Seriously though, I’m speechless with your routine and strongly admire your discipline and stamina. It’s beyond words of how beautiful and impressive it’s all this. You all make it look so easy. You all look like you’re floating. There’s so much grace and poise, I’m still trying to find the right words. There were movements that looked like Tai Chi. 🤩 I’ve always loved ballet and ballroom dance, most specifically Latin ballroom dance, but I don’t think I would be able to stick to the lifestyle it takes. I’m so glad you’re not like me because I get to see you all dance like floating with such poise and grace. All the best and God bless you all!

I have been reminded over and over and over again this year about Shen Yun.... My desire to see a performance here in Houston was overshadowed by my ability to purchase a ticket. I am in a nursing home and on fixed-income. However I came upon your videos as well as other Chinese dance videos and I am amazed how much effort goes into performing. Thank you for sharing your awesome talents with the world!! I hope to get a chance in the future to see a LIVE Performance!!

Learned Chinese dancing over 40 years ago when people only thought it was fan or ribbon dancing. Its great that the artistry of chinese dancing can be showcased at the Shen Yun shows.

This is amongst the most hard-core dance training I’ve seen and I watched the pris de laussane. and and I’ve watched a lot of dancing because I have a lot of dancer friends and no joke you are definitely amongst the top ranks in my opinion trains the hardest and are so talented I love this. For me I have trained and raced as a marathon runner and distance triathlete. You can go hard core or do the minimum. This minimum is still a full time job. Strict diet schedule and training. I loved it I respect what you do so much. Athletes sacrifice everything, willingly, for goals. My mantra for someonemwho wants go be an extreme athlete. All you have to do is want it more than ANYTHING

As a Polio survivor I can only dream of dancing…my entire family contracted Polio 1955. The mind is powerful … My brother age 4 was paralyzed from neck down … his will to recover was so strong that he became a black belt in karate as a teenager… also, my 2 yr old sister sufferer bulbar polio … a severe type effecting circulatory and respiratory … she also lived many decades… my point is this … As difficult as your training is you all are blessed with health… so when you meditate in the evening give thanks for a perfect body which can be crafted and strengthened . Thank you for sharing your routines ! So uplifting for so many !

My wife and I have watched classic Chinese movies, art and documentaries for the past 3 years (since the beginning of covid). We became fascinated and deeply appreciated the concentration, focus, creativity and splendid genius of the Chinese people, their culture and their ways of life. We also watch with great interest the current challenges facing the precious people of Beijing, Shanghai and other heavily populated cities of China. While we will never be able to truly appreciate those challenges our hearts have become tender and stirred by all that this culture brings to the international community. We appreciate your dancing discipline and the phenomenally beautiful artistic expression performed by the Shen Yun company. God bless you in your pursuit of excellence!
