My gear is spread out across the house, garage, and shop (and shed...), but I pretty much have the same, categorically speaking. Guns, bows, bikes, running, hunting, camping, backpacking, bikepacking gear,... drives my wife crazy.

A gun in the bike parts! Yep 😂. Today I stopped by the thrift store looking for a snow shovel. And I noticed a compression bag with the intermediate bag in it. I got to looking around and found two complete MMSS scattered on the shelves. $37.16 for both. I walked out of there with a big smile. I flew an IBM Selectric in the chair force when I was younger. Now I'm 62 and I got surplus scattered all about. And ya I hang my collared shirts up too.

Chadd, Thanks for showing us your gear room. Mine to other folks is a disaster....I do believe the Foxfire Series originally were made at the idea of Elliott Wiggington. He was an English Lit teacher in Appalachia, and he decided to have his students(high school) go an interview the older people. It started as a newspaper, then books, now there is a Foxfire museum, and foundation to keep the knowledge of the old ways going. Great channel, great listening to you, I am an Army vet, my brothers were Navy, both retired. Take care brother. Keep on, keepin on. Nuff Said.

I liked seeing the Foxfire books. Sort of hard to find now and pricy but worth it. My wife bought me my set 10 years ago and I read them all the time.

Yep, looks good! My gear changed about 15 years ago because I felt it was too military looking which is not good when shtf IMO. So, I decided to do extensive research into the French Resistance of WWII and changed my gear to look VERY Civilian. I also have the ability to reload ammunition for everything I have (9mm, 12 gauge shotgun, 5.56, .270 and 30-06).

the Foxfile series is amazing---wife gave me a set for Christmas a few years back. worth the purchase as Chadd said.

I love the foxfire books, my grandfather got me turned on to them back in the 80s, most people have never even heard of them when I speak of them!!

That collection of Foxfire is GOLD! I was introduced to those books by my dad, who bought the first release at the PX in Ton San Nhut Airbase just as we were about to leave Saigon after five years there. He then got the rest as they released over the next ten years. I ended getting my own copies again after moving back to Alaska 12 years ago. Total independence and self-reliance in those books!🫎🫎🫎✈️⚓️🇺🇸

I love my foxfire books! I have an old set my uncle left me when he passed. One of the few possessions I would say I treasure.

Funny when you said mountain biking gear and there was an AR15 lower hanging out. Too funny! Is it just me, or does anyone else seem to find 30 round Pmags in every junk drawer and couch cushion as well? Nice looking deer heads! I'm from deep in the Southern Appallachian Mountains. Those books could potentially save your life. Good Choice as the Center of your after The Word of God reading, due to they'll be no internet in any power/Grid down situation. We're already there, an folks don't believe it, don't see it, and are simply not ready for it. My Son Hunter, and myself were just making a plan hiking the entire trail. Honestly brother you inspired me as far as getting back into really pushing myself beyond the pain threshold, like I've done up until i got stagnant after a weapon exploded on me taking a Hornady Critical Defense Rnd, nearly taking my hand and half my arm off... I got in a really dark place for quite a while. As a Man who was training others in MMA etc... Blah blah, I've had no outlet for release. In sure you understand as a Man it messes with you when you have relied on your skillset, and athletism all your life...I figure God had to teach me to War in a very different way...on my knees Spiritually. I've been stagnant long enough, and who knows what God may use me for? Thanks brother. Pray for me and my family. -Gerald
