This game felt like the classic AC games we know and loved including AC2, AC3, and Black Flag + the others. It's not like AC Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla although it's based off the same engine.

Hey man I wanted to congratulate you on yet another platinum in your collection. Having just platinumed it myself, I was wondering what sort of score you would give. Personally, I’d give it a 6. I only played two previous Assassins Creed games, those being 3 and Black Flag, but this one is definitely the below those 2 for me personally. Just curious as to what you think.

It's not that bad dude. You'll get 7-10 naturally and the rest you can easily abuse fast travel and saves to knock out in a few minutes. Having to find all the pointless historical site collectibles that don't show on the map unless you're right on top of them was more annoying.

@@godsmacking99 I hated the one out in the swamp (?) on the eastern part of the map. The fucking thing didn't even show up on the map. It was HIDDEN behind the black square. And according to Powerpyx, you were supposed to see it if you removed said square. But that didn't work for me. I had to "cheat" by looking up the location on Powerpyx's map and then head over there. And the goddamn marker didn't appear until I was 5 meters away from it...

Killing the assassin guy also removes all notoriety too for those who are wondering. Also you can still insta kill them with environmental kills (at least the shelves I notice that you can pull out) which you can search around to find with your eagle vision if needed to help kill them for the achievement if you struggle to kill them like our man and I did. (And yes I did my first playthrough on the hardest difficulty too) Smoke bombs work so good too. (Tho keep in mind they can still counter melee)

just noticed at 9:08 when u see the requirements for the Hoarder trophy. U have to save up 2007 dirhams, which is pretty random if u dont know the first Assassins Creed came out in 2007. Its a tribute.

Never thought of that! But it's not quite true, though. I mean, I'm sure you're right about 2007, but you don't actually have to have that amount on you to pop the trophy. Even if you spend your coins, the game tracks how much you've had SO FAR, so if you've spent 1500 and you pickpocket another 1507, the trophy is yours.

The only trophy I got on complete accident was “riddle me this”. There was a prompt to interact with the water, so I did. Then the trophy popped 😂

See with some of the historical sites for anybody who doesn’t know you can get your viewpoints set up in different parts of cities and they will reveal historical sites for you save for the ones that are far out where you can’t access a viewpoint 😊

I am stuck on the Blade In The Crowd trophy. I must have killed 30 or so guards in the streets and still don't have it. Would you recommend the Damascus prison as the place to farm those kills? The crowds that I were in were groups of 3 instead of more than that. I know that Basim needs to have the white outline around him.

i like in Valhalla the custom difficulty. Instead of enemies having ridiculous health, i give them normal health but make them do tons of damage

Im 4 achievements away but the scaffolding one and the assassinations in a crowd are just too much of a pain to get. I don't know if its just xbox but reloading saves doesn't work either. Also as a sidenote the one to stay in combat you can just sit on a ledge while a snake is looking at you for 10 minutes and it counts.

With the eagle’s will trophy I just found a snake in the desert and stood on a rock where it couldn’t damage me and stayed completely still for the 10 minutes Am i proud of myself for doing it that way absolutely not but I’ll happily take the easier and lazy approach rather then losing my mind

Big RPG is what you make of it. I don’t need leveling systems and gear stats to RP. I need a good story, good setting, satisfying gameplay and good music. They just need to work on making the story compelling again and with Basim being our first actual modern day assassin I think it could get interestinf

There's an easy way to defeat shakiriya! Just upgrade your noisemaker to tier2 and use that fire upgrade to your noise maker, now all you gotta do is pop some smoke and throw the noisemaker with fire upgrade on him, watch him burn and struggling. Use heavy attack four times on him while he is burning. That's it easy-peasy, his weakness is fire

You don't need to honestly. Each game has its own story but they tie together overall.

yeah, play the older ones, i'd recommend playing the main games (as well as brotherhood) going from ac1 up to maybe origins. I especially recommend assassin's creed IV black flag, my personal favorite. I'd skip oddysey and valhalla however since they can't even be called assassin's creed at this point.
