Get a suction cup mount like the one you have and some extenders that can point into the fender well mounted on the fender? Possible solution.

Nice video man! But watch out for that saltwater though! Tacoma's don't like that. Been driving on the beach for over 20 years and I avoid driving on the water as much as I can. I also always have had undercoating done on my trucks. Great fun out there for sure 👍

Right when we got home I spent at least 30 minutes pressure washing everything under my truck and the suspension. There was so much sand haha going to do another pressure wash this weekend. I’m super paranoid about the salt and sand messing something up.

Not telling you what to do, but I go 15 under normal conditions on sand highway and in the soft stuff. and only 8 psi back in the dunes. Never been stuck. I honestly think it’s because I have LT rated tires, stiffer sidewall. I love pismo sand dunes.

Yeah I think 10-8 is a pretty good PSI for the dunes!! I need to go back soon!

Idk what it was about Sunday, but we only saw about 5 total in the dunes and we stayed until 2pm!

I love it. People don’t like it for off roading, But I’m completely fine with it. I’ll be getting a high clearance rear bumper though

haha I avoid it as much as I can, but nothing I can do about the high tide crossing area. It's a pain in the ass cleaning up after the dunes though.

I live in NY so that’s pretty much 5 months a year, salt brine on the roads. I just do a thorough wash every spring, grind off surface rust wherever I see it on the underbody, repaint those areas, then copious amounts of Fluid Film. So far so good. 2018 SR5
