CptCanada The debt should be reduced by earning money from other countries through good trade deals, not stealing from its own people' pockets.

Barrett Neal Maybe you should do more homework. He clearly said other countries are taking advantage of us by these trade deals and they need us badly. We can use their needs to negotiate good deals, otherwise we will walk away from these deals. To bring jobs back, we will put high tariffs on those products manufactured overseas but shipped back to our country.

rapturekevin The United States is the worlds protector. NATO is NOTHING without the great USA. Some Europeans complain about America but in truth if Europe got invaded tomorrow most of them would fold like they did in World War 2. And then America will save them.

Everytime someone talks about how they're going to create jobs and all this, I just have to roll my eyes. Unemployment has been on the decline since the peak back in 2009. The unemployment rate is half of what it was then, and has returned to pre-crash levels since Obama has been in office. So focusing on "job creators" is a lot of hot air right now. Jobs have been created, and continue to do so already. The idea of rebuilding the middle class seems like a much stronger goal. The gap has gotten worse and worse and worse, and it needs filling.

@@fulca4389 He wasn't though. He added close to 8 trillion to debt in just 4 yrs. His tax cut for the wealthy added over 2 trillion to the debt. Job growth even before Pandemic slowed under him compared to last 3 yr of Obama.
