This is the 3rd year in a row where I am stopped by law enforcement, boarded and checked for short lobster. The first time it was FWC, which is Florida Wildlife Control. The second time is was United States Border Control, Immigrations and Customs which was a little strange. And this year it was by Monroe County Sherriff.
Because mini season for lobster is such a big event in Florida FWC gets help by coast guard, sheriff, police and border patrol to help monitor the lobster limits being taken.

Ever noticed most shootings happened because of cops harassing over simple traffick infractions or robbing people of money legally. Running in tags just to pull someone over. Here’s an idea. Quit fucking with people. Unless they r an extreme danger or u see a crime, don’t fuck with people. U r to serve Amd protect. Not tax and collect. Civil forfeiture is bullshit. And u are blindly following people who pay u. Not good. And the good cops don’t call out the bad ones. And makes u just as guilty.

@@trinkladd Truth I stopped fishing about five years ago because I got tired of being harrassed by fish and game almost every time I went fishing... I was legal with a license every time and I catch and release fish for the most part as well. One time they even tried to get my friend who hadn't been fishing to confess that he had so they could give him a ticket...

Beautiful underwater footage. Reminds me of when I was stationed on Diego Garcia, BIOT. We would snorkel in the Indian Ocean, most clear water I have ever seen.

Got the family in Largo for the last three weeks. 1 week to go. My 9 yr old son just caught his first lobster today. Pretty sure I saw you out by pickles during mini season. Keep it up man. Love the channel.

I stopped doing mini season because I am sick of being stopped numerous times a day. The record is 3 by 3 separate officers in the same day.

In Western Australia all crays must be kept whole even in your freezer so size can always be checked - also all recreational fishers must remove one tail fin so it can be identified as such and not sold commercially FYI only

I myself have never been rostering although it does seem like a fun experience. Most other videos that use a measuring tool underwater before harvesting. I never saw that tool in your video.

Dealt with a bunch in San Diego Bay; Harbor Police; Fish & Game; Navy Security; SEALS Security; CBP; and INS. They were just doing their job, because I was close to North Island NAS. Lucky I am a retired VET, so it went quick, with special info on restrictions that day. Offered up drinks just to be a friend.

Season just opened up on the 6th, it'll be open for many months. You can catch 6-12 per person depending where you are. Yes you need FWC lobster permit

Last mini season I got boarded 5 times this year only once but doesn’t bother me they are just doing their jobs. Oh did I forget to mention I have a FWC officer on both sides as neighbors.

If the drone is a DJI he should be able to grab the drone and flip it completely over on its back and it will shut the props down automatically. Just a helpful tip

To be fair I mainly only get stopped when crabbing, or at a known party spot. Besides that and the boat ramp I rarely get stopped. But if I'm doing one of those things be prepared to be stopped.

In italy lobsters are only for professionals, while recreational fishermen can not catch lobs. Beside there is maybe 1/10000 the amount you have there. But cops can not jump on your boat without a mandate either, is private property!

Tell chris that when he finally grabs the drone to just flip it upside down and it will automatically stop, its a good tip to know so it does not try and accelerate out of your hand when you first grab it

We get harassed on Tahoe by the coast guard. They have twin 30 cal on the bow and the kid sailors have side arms and boots that scuff the boat. Twice in one day and I'm a bearded white guy.
