if its software then doing all settings reset and reconfiguring face id should fix bro. if its hardware the taking it to apple service center is recmmended. sadly they cant fix face id separately, they may have to replace entire unit.

once deleted you can perform the delete task from recently deleted album too. mostly that helps rahul. if the photos are not removed from recently deleted album try deleting batch wise. like 100 photos at a time and give some time. they will be removed.
