@@canfindaname The men would all be stereotypical jerks too. Misogynistic times one million. In the movie you know before the girls start G.I. Janing their way back the guys would be cheating, and there'd be flagrant fouls a plenty. The main villain would body check our heroine when she goes up for a layup, and she'd be injured and unable to continue, but he'd still be in the game because the refs would've missed the hard, flagrant, foul because the other male villains of our story would've been distracting them. Our injured heroine would give a speech to her sisters to keep on fighting, and to win one for the Karen speech, and that would inspire our woke heroines to go on and win the game on sheer girl power. They'd use their girl brains to outsmart the feeble-minded men because men can't handle any attacks on their ego's, and/or multi-task (there should be several jokes pointing that out as well, our target audience will love that). Oh and if one of the girls saw one of the guys naked and made fun of the size of the guy's unit, well then he'd crumble like a house of cards. It'd be critical to the plot and that joke would kill with our target audience! I seriously think this is how movies like Charlie's Angels, and Ghostbusters 2016 got made, except their writers were actually serious when they were talking about it making it.

Our slightly above average middle-school boys soccer team (ages 12-14) played our undefeated varsity girls soccer team (ages 14-18)... The boys won 11 - 0. The girls didn't even come close to scoring. The girls were cool, no hate or disrespect, but anyone comparing the two, thinking "girls can do anything guys can do" are not only delusional, but misguided. Girls don't have to be as good as guys to deserve respect. But when they start talkin trash... they better be ready for a lesson in humility 😅

We accepted and made it into a major event, picnic family day. The score after the first inning was 15-0 us. After the 2nd inning it was 28-0, we stopped trying. When they showed up, they were all cocky and said we could stay on the court if we could beat them on a full court game up to 21. My friends and I were beating them like 18-1, and then they started getting sore and pouting, and decided to throw their weight around, charging into us and running us over on every drive to the basket. Obviously this isn't their idea of inclusivity and equality!! I look forward to seeing how this matter develops, and what rules and restrictions will be in place for next year??

Reminds me of what a few of my students (same H.S. in Ohio) told me about being in high school back in the 80's. They actually had boys v girls games once a year, varsity and reserve players were excluded. The boys had a handicap, being they weren't permitted to shoot from inside the lane. Despite the games never being even competitive, the girls were increasingly given to talking trash. In one game, my student told me that the girls scored one basket the entire game, and couldn't stop taunting the boys over it, despite the lopsided score, to the point that the female gym coach refereeing the game called a technical foul. Imagine that things have "progressed" so far that most women and even some men actually believe that women can actually defeat men at ordinary competitive sports (or even combat games) without serious handicaps against the men. That's where we are.

When I was 13 years old, I played on a pretty good boys' house-league fast pitch softball team. Our coach knew the coach of the city's girls' travel team comprised of mostly 15-year-olds. We played a mid-season exhibition game against them and won easily. The thing that was most noticeable was how fast the ball jumped off the bats when the boys struck the ball compared to the how it left the girls' bats despite the females being two years older than the boys. Anyone who thinks females can compete with males in serious athletics on an equal basis is simply deluded.

I remember playing a game of boys vs. girls, and I also remember it being two guys against six girls. After the obvious conclusion of that game, we did it again with the same outcome. But these were simpler times, and nobody cared. They didn't cancel the games because 'sexism', we just kept playing because the girls just wanted to try to win, and so did we. The problem was, me and the other guy playing, were both pitchers for our school's baseball team. So it was basically a game of laser-tag and catching lightly-thrown pillows.

There’s a reason Pat Summit started having the Lady Vols practice against guys (aka the gray shirts) and why they were limited to 6’2” tall. She wanted the women to practice against players who were faster, quicker, stronger, and could jump higher (a lot higher hence the height limit). Friend of mine was one back when Bridgette Gordon was playing (All American / ‘88 Gold Medal etc). Pat got on his ass and cussed him out for not guarding her as tough as he should and not challenging her shot. He was 6’2”, could dunk, track&bball in HS, so he was like okay..and proceeded to block her shot the next 5 minutes. There’s a reason girls sports exist.

I can remember in my youth a girl thought she could out run me because she ran track. I didn't of course, I just played football. Needless to say I raced her and blew her away. At first I thought she was just joking about being able to out run me. It took a while for me to understand she wasn't joking lol. I thought for sure she has to be joking, she can't really believe she could run with me. Lol she did really believe she could right until they said go... I could have skipped and out ran her. One time in 4th grade, since I was a smart nice boy, the girls all decided to let me play four square with them. I watched silently and politely waited in line as the girls all got to play. The second I got on the board I completely betrayed my best female friend by smacking her in the hip with the ball. Proceeded to rinse and repeat until all the girls hated my guts for the week, the whole game fell apart because I had thought the object of 4 square was to win. It’s funny looking back but my testosterone kicked in that day. These girls are still my friends all these years later but I absolutely destroyed and ended these gurls 4 square careers lol

We had no idea what was gonna happen as they were a big deal and winning the city's school championship 2 years in a row, so might end up embarassed or morons...we beat them 5 sets of 25:0...later I kept wondering was it really the obvious (men vs women), or were all the other teams so bad if we demolished the champion one...six of us random guys who had no training whatsoever...

In 2008 when I was 35 years old I played OzTag in Australia. It's a type of touch football. One of the team's was a mixed team. During one of the games whilst trying to sidestep I got my legs mixed up and slipped. Because I was going at full speed as the defender (a small stature 18 year old girl) was coming to get me I landed on her. Result was she got broken ribs! I was 80 kgs and she would've been about half that. Next season, there was no more mixed teams. Nothing happened to me except a bruised ankle but I was so upset for the girl. Gosh it's almost 2022 and I still get goosebumps thinking about it.

Nice. I did that a few times in college but it was a D3 college team. A couple of the guys could barely dribble and just shot around. I was the "big" guy but only 6'2 & 180 since I ran track and only made the JV high school team. The girls' center was all conference three years running. I think she scored once and maybe got a defensive rebound or two. Their coach and the team thanked us though since it was a harder scrimmage than against themselves. Edit- The girls team won conference that year and got an invite to nationals, for D3.

I'm from a time when it was accepted that guys were stronger, faster, more coordinated than girls. they can throw further and hit harder. However that didn't stop my school's softball coach from pitting the girls against the boys. The girls knew they would be murdered and they took it as fact that they weren't in the same league. Why the girls against the boys? His thinking was that if they had hard opponents they would learn how to get an edge. It actually helped the girls to compete in their own games against other girl teams from different schools. Our girls softball team were unbeatable and the girl had the good grace to attribute that to facing the challenge with the guys. For the guys, they never downed the girls for the lack of skill and they actually coached them to do better and they did. I did hear one guy have a go at one girls with the age old taunt, "You throw like a girl!" To which she replied, "Well I farkin thank god for that, I have an excuse, so what's yours?" The guys cheered and high fived her and he got ribbed for the rest of the practice match. So it isn't bad that girls play boys, it's how it's taken, these boys are playing with the girls and if the girls were smart, they would take this as a training meet and not take it personally. There is no shame for women to be weaker than men, it's just biology. Women are strong when it's needed, And I can tell you, after being with my wife as she delivered our three children, if it were up to me, we'd only have one child and she'd be divorced....lol.
