Man idk if you are gonna see this but every time I look for tsukuba runs to try and improve my times I check this video to cross examine it. I cannot believe you could get a 4:16 run in an ae86. My best time was 4:20 in an a-spec s2k. Whatever you are doing keep doing it :)

Damn man i wish i can play this asetto corsa initial d mod in my current xbox series S. Im really enthusiast with touge clean game play like this. Tsukuba FL is my favourite touge pass. Your racing line is similar with my fastest time in tsukuba FL on Initial d Arcade stage 5. Great work budd

After like a 2 week and some change hiatus. I’ve lost the precision I once had with the 86. It’s coming back but not at the point where I can chuck it into a corner like how you do and be comfortable with it. Only a matter of time. Great run.

I absolutely love breaking the laws of logic by using slip angle to go faster when technicaly, "drifting" is slower. Anyways, phenomenal car control, excellent use of slip angle, and shift locking also that throttle control is amazing I don't play assetto for touge, more so beam NG but I do follow very similar driving habits and I must say that it kind of resembles Mr. Keiichi Tsuchiya's technique

I played asseto corsa one time the ae86 is difficult and different in driving tounge its very hard to turn I realized it neede better ratio for gearing and i watched how it is fun to play assetto corsa X its pretty ngl it's very fun to run in tounge using 86 or EvoIII lancer

Tonight after 4 h trying i did my best time 4:39.7 my best was 4:44 and 4:47. I'm improving and learning the track and the car litle by litle, but man it is hard as shit, starting in the track, mine is not the same and at the start where i'm starting, you are already at 140 kmh downshifting to enter the 1rst turn. What track are you using?? I also have some weird vegetation in the high speed part (where the pits are at the freeroam version)

this was EK Tsukuba Fruits Line Version 1.3, and I did a runup maybe thats why our speeds for the first corner are different

a hint：turn your r gear before start. it have a lot of space for you to increase the speed of first straight line, many clip from utube use this trick to advantage , i personally too lazy to go behind at every game, just chill drift and enjoy this map, but i can still go about 4:24 on this using 86, never tried use that space to make a new record, but still this guys is amazing❤

Thanks for the video and the mod again, it is awesome! , but I some question, the headlight will be broken in the 3rd person replay when the camera is far from the car. (Or maybe specific range of distance, i cant sure…), do you have this problem? I have this problem at tsukuba :( cant record a nice drift montage

@@dankalf1 i found out how to make it work, just turn on the reflection fx debug and it will be fine, but can i ask for the ae86 tuned but have the trueno logo at the front just like your video, i download the 8.2 version, and there are no trueno at the bumper, it just like missing something, i tried to swap the stock version kn5, and config the graphic offset, but those extension position will not fit the model🥲🥲thanks a lot again

Some corners, especially in touge (mid-high speed corners) have a spot where 3rd and 4th gear is used. In AE86, The ratio between 3rd and 4th gear is too wide, resulting in 3rd gear being past peak torque (too much revs) and 4th being below peak torque (not enough revs). This makes the driver constantly shift between 3rd and 4th gear, thats why a "3.5" gear is used to fill in the spot between 3rd and 4th, having overall better acceleration and faster cornering in some corners. 5th gear is removed for the 3.5 gear, sacrificing top speed for better acceleration in corners. Keiichi Tsuchiya also has this configuration in his AE86 for faster times in Gunsai.

Why do you keep the throttle planted through the shift? As far as I'm aware this 86 doesn't have a turbo, so keeping the throttle planted would just cause unnecessary wear
