I traveled abroad for the first time in a long time.
It was a trip to Taiwan with my mother, with a local meeting and a local breakup.
It had been about 5 years since I last went abroad.
I was more nervous than excited.
We were saved many times by the kindness of Taiwanese people,
I returned home with a lot of memories and a lot of fun😊

This is probably one of my favorite videos of yours ever. Everything you do is just so...thoughtful. Even down to the fact that you care enough to actually look nice when you travel by plane, which is something that is completely lost on the typical American flyer these days. I'm glad you had a wonderful time with your mother as well - as we ourselves grow older, it's been a reminder at least for me to take time with my remaining parent. Thank you Nami-san for all that you do in putting these vlogs together. I wish that there were more people like you who cared about living life intentionally and thoughtfully.

海外旅行で現地集合はドキドキしますね。この旅はお母様への誕生日のお祝いや母の日の感謝の気持ちを込めたプレゼントだったのでしょうか。最終日に枕元にバースデーカードを置く様子に感動してしまいました。台湾の街並みや雰囲気、食事、人の温かさどれも素敵でした。海外からの観光客に優しい台湾の方も事前にお礼のお菓子セットを持参するnamiさんの気遣いもどちらも素晴らしいですね。

Да, когда мы были в Японии, нам так же помогали люди на улице. А если не могли объяснить дорогу, то брали за руку и провожали до места назначения! Японцы очень добрые и вежливые!❤

Ну тогда почитайте "Цусиму" и "Порт-Артур", потом скажете на сколько они добрые. Вообще это искусственно выведенная нации, у них эта технология работает больше 100 лет. Не сотвори себе кумира. I've only just started watching the video, but I was sitting here fighting tears, for the same reason. I lost mine in Feb. of 2023. Last year I was exhausted and numb and out of it. This year, it's really hitting me. My heart goes out to you.

My deepest sympathies on your loss 😢❤. I lost my mom in October of 2017 and the ache never goes away. I miss her so much but I know she is with God in Heaven❤
