I have a wonderful solution to having rough edges on your cut paper: get yourself a "buffer block" that's meant to smooth your fingernails - and use it to "sand" the edges of your paper. Works like a charm!

These are adorable. Try placing a piece of regular copy paper UNDER the card stock and then cut. That should help.
