Hello!! I am following your videos for a while now. They are amazing. Is this the Le creuset kadhai that you are using in the video? Could you please tell me if it is easy to use and clean(as I assume this cannot go in dishwasher)? I have started to collect Le creuset items for my kitchen. I am thinking about buying the Le creuset kadhai "Balti". But again I think what if the food gets stuck to it?
@homegupshup2 жыл бұрын
Hello Sujata!! Yes I am using "Balti" by Le Creuset. It's definitely very easy to use compared to normal cast iron since this is enamelled. It does not rust like the normal ones and cleans easily with a wipe. Incase food does get stuck you can leave warm water in it for 15 mins and then wipe clean. It's nice if you season it from time to time. I'm currently loving this product due to it's amazing size and ease of cleaning.

Hi Swetha for watching the video. I totally understand what you mean. It can get difficult with kids. I am no expert with kids but in my opinion developing a habit in them slowly and steadily should definitely work out in the long run. Giving them just one chore to do each day and watching over them to do it regularly and then slowing teaching them more such habits to make it a part of their lifestyle. It's definitely a challenging thing to do but maybe would help. I am sure all mothers like you struggle but hats off to you all for still managing so many things alone..

A wholewheat pancake recipe that I use- i forget which online source it’s from- Healthy whole wheat pancakes Ingredients: * 1 cup (123g) whole wheat flour (or white whole-wheat) (measured correctly) * 1/2 cup (40g) quick oats * 1/4 teaspoon salt * 2 teaspoons baking powder * 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon * 1 large egg (or 2 egg whites) * 1 cup (240ml) milk* * 2 Tablespoons packed dark brown sugar (or light brown) * 1/4 cup (63g) Greek yogurt* * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract * 1/2 cup add-ins like chocolate chips or fruit, optional Directions: 1. Toss the flour, oats, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon together in a large bowl. Set aside. In a separate pmedium bowl, whisk the egg and milk together. Whisk in the brown sugar and yogurt until no lumps remain. Whisk in the vanilla until combined. 2. Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour the wet ingredients in. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix the batter or your pancakes will be tough and very dense. Add any mix-ins you prefer, but again - do not overmix the batter. 3. Heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat. Coat generously with cooking spray, oil, or butter. Once hot, drop about 1/4 cup of batter on the griddle. Cook until the edges look dry and bubbles begin to form on the center or sides, about 1 minute. Flip and cook on the other side until cooked through, about 2 more minutes. Coat griddle/skillet again with nonstick spray for each pancake or batch of pancakes. 4. Keep pancakes warm in a preheated 200F degree oven until all pancakes are cooked. Serve immediately. Pancakes taste best right after they are made. Pancakes freeze well, up to 2 months.
