4 Days in Chongzuo, Guangxi, China | Detian Waterfalls & Mingshi Scenic Area

I took a 4 day solo trip to the Chongzuo area of southern Guangxi, China! Here's a vlog and itinerary of my experience exploring the karst mountains, bike trails, and the nearby Detian Waterfall on the border of China and Vietnam.

I am American been, to many tiny villages in Guangxi. My wife is is from that area. We could show you real outback Guangxi.

Hi Rachel, your video motivated me to make the same trip! It will be my 1st time to China though. Can I ask if it is easy / common to get Didi from Nanning to Mingshi?

Getting a didi might be expensive. The best way to get there is to take a high speed train to Chongzuo, and take a bus to Mingshi or Shuolong(Detian Waterfall). You can ask me for more information.

@@maneuver1315 Thanks for the advise. We end up asking mingshi hotel to help us arrange a local driver to pick up from our hotel in Nanning and it cost RMB800. We did not opt for public transport as this is the 1st time we travel to China and I am unfamiliar with any of the system, transport and payment. :)

So how much in US dollars did you pay for your driver ?? Also can you tell us how much it costs in US dollars everytime you travel to somewhere please.
