My drill instructor always told us '5 pairs of socks ' wet, cold feet will give you problems. 50+ years ago and I still practice that. Great video 👍

Hello from Oklahoma! Good video! Seeing your cold wet feet reminded me of a little trick we used to do when I was a kid in Nebraska. We would put our stocking feet in plastic bread loaf bags, then put on our boots and then go out in the snow. It worked! The builds you show us are so labor intensive and so cozy. I've tried to build a couple of them and, WHEW! Love the enthusiasm of your dog. Thanks for all You Do! God Bless!!

I remember winter camping as a kid, the set up, especially in a freezing rain, was miserable! Need to keep the core warm and feet as dry as possible.

May I kindly request that when you do these videos in the future, you give either a voice over narration or speak during the videos with tips on why you are doing a specific activity to make things clearer? After your last message to me, so much more makes sense now. I am just thinking it would be great to know what your thought process is as you perform certain tasks throughout these awesome videos.
