The last game was brilliant. Goku splitting priority between Harvesters and light tanks on the right side of the map. Top tier.

Depressing to see that Maverick couldn't leverage his engineer rush to gain advantage over Goku. Seems like it is really impossible for Soviets to win against light tank spam.

If he managed to get a single APC or tank from the factory i would have loved to see him try to park it at the only refinery left, so no more ore for his opponent for a while, that would have been nice

as a Soviet, you really need some of V2 rockets to keep them at bay, ideally positioned behind your heavy tanks. but it's next to impossible to micro this properly for me. but it saved my ass several times. 😀

@@ErenisRanitos i mean, light tanks are fast and just perfect to hit V2s and run, and with how expensive V2s are, i can't imagine how it would help since dodging their missiles would be easy 4 fast tanks. I would see a 5 missile soldier squad homing missiles being more effective, you would only need to protect them like the V2, but only from being crushed

For some reason I love watching these remastered videos, still, it is a pity the game did not receive optional MP only patches and q moving is too good. Half the units are never used still fun to watch.

engineer should've gone for the base race way earlier. at least have got that last power plant to slow down goku's tank production. i rekon he'd have won it

How can you say something like this? Goku has Engineerix outnumbered on both Buildings and tanks so he would have lost the base race for sure. You should have said Goku should've gone for the base race way earlier instead of chasing Engineerix

RA2 doesn't have a replay function, so those have to be recorded live.

Goku is a top tier player i know. but that first match just goes to show how easy allies have it. lost all that in the first few mins and it took him how long still just to build up a few light tanks and basically turn the game just like that, even though mavericks based was untouched? even if you arnt a top player its so easy just to build ur power station refinery n warfactory n pump out 4 or so light tanks then thats it. kiss goodbye to your construction yard and even if u have tanks ...means nothing they wont be able to hit anything.

I Do not agree at all. Stopping that after capturing your building in your base is extremely hard. over 4 minutes in the game and Goku only had 3 light tanks. Maverick had to push out yes but he waited when he had 4 heavy tanks. because Goku's wars were taken down he had to pump out tanks as fast as possible. Also how can you say this about light tanks taking down buildings when Goku did not take out any building it was a pure tank fight battle

Shame maverick didnt send those heavy tanks he has to the other side of Goku's base away from the turrets. taken out power plant n construction yard. probably cldve had it

Say Sybert: are 1v1 red alert matchups always wired wiþ þese colour schemes? I cannot recall a single 1v1 wiþ colouring oþer þan cyan and yellow.

This is the color scheme for the quickmatch/ladder. Custom games will have different colors sometimes.

I'd say 80%-90% yeah. There's infantry wars or base crawl all ins as well, but mostly some version of tank spam.

if you are behind with tanks and out of cash. or if you arent going to build anything else. im not a fan of selling the mcv too

the get the £££ advantage over your opponent, so get tanks out quicker. its for rushers who wanna get a quick game. if you fail to overcome ur enemy first off ur kinda at a disadvantage from then on so ppl often quit if it doesnt work.

innit. I cant bring myself to just light tank spam every game cos it's lame and boring after 3 games, so play as Soviets. but you're at such a disadvantage even from players way below you in the ranking

Classic comment from someone who can't come up with something himself and just follows the crowd. Did you even watch the video? where did you see light tank spam? the only game with light tank spam was the game on Bullseye vs Engineerix. The rest of the matches had no light tank spam. Come up with something not so original.

i guess we didnt watch the same video. or you have no idea what a light tank spam is. from what i have seen, the First match was an engineer rush, 2th game both players played medium tanks. 3th match light tank spam. 4th game heavy vs mediums. So all 4 games were different. Just as the title says ' 4 fantastically variated matches' But hey, keep being very original with the classic' light tank spam' reaction@@Z3ZP

@@OneSybert I'm telling to _not_ change what you're doing, actually. Maybe even go back a little bit; I've been watching your casts for years, and while you always let slip that staple sports anchor "excited growl", lately it started to feel even more unnatural than when they do it, and that's saying something. Also, hell yes, I will go around telling casters I like when I feel something is wrong, because that's exactly what I'm doing here. Don't worry, though, things like that are only brought up once, so I'll shut up, no need to ban me.
