4 GORGEOUS Mini Acrylic Pour Blowouts! Enjoy!

I've played with a few different pouring mediums throughout the years and I'm delighted to say that I am over the moon with my DIY Pouring Medium! It is soooooo versatile. I LOVE the transparency it adds to my pours! Gives so much depth. Another win is being able to mix my TLP Pigments 🐷🐷🐷 (or my studio spices as I call them) straight into the Pouring Medium (I do wet them down first with my PM)! The PM dries crystal clear and the recipe is so forgiving. If you have been following me over the years you know I DON'T measure!!! I'm not the type. I don't measure when I'm cooking either 🤷‍♀️. Recipe is roughly 25% Golden regular gel gloss and 75% flood floetrol. That is it! I then add the PM to my paint until the paint is flow ready... then depending on technique I'll thin the paint down with water.
DIY POURING MEDIUM:
Approximately 25% Golden Regular Gloss Gel 75% USA FLOOD FLOETROL
CLOUD MIX:
1 Part Deco Art Satin Enamel mixed with 1 Part Amsterdam Opaque Acrylic Color (I usually use Titanium Buff light)
AFTER the enamel and acrylic paint is mixed together add 1 part DIY Pouring medium

My paint color purchases is growing. Your combos are wonderful. Your technique is different than I have done will have to try your way. This is just me but i would have added more white to brighten up the painting but as i start to do these who knows i may try some darker ones too. In the dutch pour how much time would i have to fiddle with it before it dries? This one is absolutely beautiful. Keep showing us more dutch pour please.

That last black and gold one reminds me of the very first video I ever saw of your work. you were trying arteza paints out and it was a beautiful piece. Edit: It was actually July 2nd 2019. After I saw that I started getting into acrylic pouring

Hey Sweety, I'm Ronda Thomison and I own one of your spinners and I love it. I also love what you do. I love the look of those cells that your mixture makes. But I'm having a hard time getting them . I use the Golden Regular gloss gel and flotroel. You say 25% and 75%. Honey I'm not too smart with math. But I can do parts. Would you be so kind to tell me how many parts that would be. Is it one part gel and 3 parts flotroel? I really want those cells. And do you think with floetrol or water. I watch you closely and really pay attention to the consistency. You are so sweet my friend. Thank you for being such a good teacher.

Beautiful! Curious if you’re wanting your background color to be dark are you limited to the Art Deco satin enamel to get celling or do your accent colors have the DecoArt or other (?) additives to get the celling? Guess tho, as you’ve noted before, your DIY PM probably causes the cellingTxz, jeanne

Hi! I didn't use any DecoArt in these paintings. The cells are from a combination of things. Such as pouring medium, paint density and high quality paints with good binders.
