North Carolina is home for many outstanding campgrounds and parks. We stayed in four RV campgrounds absolutely worth visiting. One of the campgrounds was located in the middle of the terrific Outer Banks - a famous string of barrier islands that begin at the Virginia border and go south for 120 miles to Ocracoke Island. Another campground was situated on the banks of the picturesque Jordan Lake. We also have a couple recommendations for overnight stops in North Carolina. Please enjoy.
