Preset 1 is my fav, the pedal responds automatically, you get a really great crunch and “open” sound . All the other presets are also pretty good.

Any setting on a blues driver is great. Imo it's the best drive pedal available.

Just got one. Great next to my ys808. The 808 is smooth and mid while bd has a lot of edge and more bite. Bd and od3 are solid pedals

if you stack bd 2 and lightspeed which 1st in the chain bd2 into lightspeed or lightspeed into bd2?

Lightspeed into BD would be normal but experiment with both!

In order to get the sound like a Eddy Van Halen u need a certain unit that is on top of the amplifier

People are trying to tell me that it's not the guitar but the players. Yes but using a crappy guitar is not very good

I would turn the tone way down to get rid of that harshness.

The BD-2 works well with every kind of guitar and amp. The only exception for me is a Stratocaster. With that kind of guitar I prefer the Boss SD-1 because this pedal has more mid range.
