TOPIC: HOW CAN WE BE INSTRUMENTS OF GOD’S RECONCILIATION?
First Reading: Amos 7: 10-17

Gospel: Matthew 9: 1-8
We are called to be like the people in the Gospel who brought the paralytic to Jesus. We are called to be God’s instrument to people around us - by the example of our lives and attitudes to bring them to Jesus for healing and reconciliation. Many people nowadays cannot or will not come to Jesus by themselves. They may be paralyzed by pride, fear, skepticism, greed or ambition. They need our example, our help and our intercession.
My dear brothers and sisters, let our hearts be open to the Lord to receive his grace and blessing so that we may pursue this ministry of reconciliation to bring people back to God’s embrace.
This is the 1528th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
