God just kicked my ex out of my life. A girl I really thought I was going to marry. I was with her for 3 years. There was some really good times in our relationship. But there was some severely ugly, dark times as well. God sometimes takes people out of our life to protect us. And who knows, maybe she takes this time to work on herself and achieves self love where she can be happy someday and learns to talk to people better. Im taking this time to work on myself and focus on my own self worth. Right now, its just not the time for her and I to be together. And I've accepted that. With a lot of the help of listening to RC Blakes videos. And of course, with the help of God and a lot of prayer. Just gotta have faith people! Just gotta have faith!

What a great message!! Hurt people hurt people. She may have been fighting her own demons from trauma. It is wonderful that you know that YOU can't fix her, only God. Pray for her from a distance because SOME people really went through ALOT early on in life and Sadly, they end up hurting others. I just made a video about this a couple of days ago, that "MEN GET HURT TOO!" Keep trusting God!! The best is yet to come!!!!

Well said. I have been working on myself since I have been listening to RC Blakes and Tony Gaskets. I am blocking negative people from my page on social media and my surrounding. When something happens in my life I pray and listen to these guys because it help clear my mind and thoughts. I remind myself when I'm feeling sad that this spirit is not from God. I know there are going to be days when I'm sad, hurt and feeling down, but because I know Christ, I know to go to him in prayer. Sometimes it's easier to say then done, but I don't give up until I have recover. Sometimes we are our worst enemy. Be blessed.

When I realized that God loves me in spite of myself with all of my faults and limitations it caused me to love myself. It was a process that took over 50 years for me to master it. I took a lot from people and gave a lot of my time, money, and myself. Now I know that without the love of God I can't love myself and without self love I can't love others as I should.

I am working on myself. Having love for me daily. Love myself for me , accept that I am growing and flaws are there, but self love is greater than flaws. I exercise, I eat healthy food and I still have cake and ice cream. I read, I pray, I listen to helpful encouraging real talk videos to help me evolve. I have to come to live out all of the potential God put inside me. Love yourself so much that you do not allow others to hurt me , humiliate me, use or abuse me, disrespect me. No. I say no. I know God says I am extremely beautiful and valuable. Every day I will practice self love. I am happy to be alive. I am thankful to be a follower of Christ. Abba I belong to you.

“Lack of self love is To Sabotage your future .for the sake of please the people meant to be past.” I grow up lack of self steen because my mother told me how stupid and ugly I am my whole childhood. I was convinced something is seriously lack in me. I had out body experiences whenever I felt humiliated or disrespected. I stay quite and feel so shameful, but later on. I felt such Anger. Felt such disappointment that I didn’t stand up for myself! I think because that fire in me. I start to practice have my voice , sometimes it’s dramatic but at least I felt it’s step forward to equal fair treatments that I require from others. That I won’t let shit slide anymore I had last twenty years!

I suffered from verbal abuse too from both my parents although I wasn't called ugly but I was called stupid by my dad and other names by my mom but I did feel safe with them but whn they got mad they called names and felt bad about it later bcus they wood apologize to me afterwards and I remember tht would make me feel better

I can relate to the teenage parent thing. I was raped at 15 and kept the child whom I gave birth to at 16. I had a really rough road and tons of judgment and hate from mostly church people who judged and condemed me without knowing the whole story... I never talked about the rape.. it was a long story... my rapist was my supposed boyfriend who was very abusive...sadly my upbringing shaped me to tolerate too uch abuse... I broke out of all that much later in life... now for the past few years I finally learned to love and accept myself... my son is now a grown man.. sadly he is harsh and judgmental himself.. I never told him what his father did... I left his father after the birth of my child and went back to school and I raised my child without any help financial or other... It was really hard but all that went with being a child mom was far worse.

Amen Pastor Blake. Self love is not being narrcistic. It is simply refusing others to treat you less than who you are. And, not allowing them to treat you less than how great you treat them. My Lord, I just prayed an hour ago telling the Lord that I am not angry with those people who have recently hurt me so bad. However, I told the Lord in checking myself that I move on in love from these people. Why, because I love myself enough to refuse to stay connected to them knowing they don't care and love me as I love them. It comes a time when a person has to pick oneself up and go on to grow elsewhere. Self love releases us to # go and not look back. Respect comes into play here as well.

@Denise Meletiche Yes, I will.. It's just shameful at times. One of my coworkers is a training manager at my job who makes good money. What's crazy is, that despite her being well educated and traveling to different states to train people within our company, she keeps dating low level street hustlers who don't have legit jobs, and constantly cheat on her..She can't even go outta town with being stressed out because she's worried about getting cheated on and eventually getting hurt.. I've prayed with her and referred her to this channel because I think she could learn a lot about dating from Pastor Blakes.. I mean I came to this channel to learn more about dating and waiting patiently through God on finding that right one for me.. But she don't wanna listen so yes, I'll just keep praying for her as well as some of my hard headed friends who think they know it all...

Right on. Determine your own individuality (self love) before becoming a couple. Thing is, biological urges need to be overcome. Young people are driven by sexual impulses. These urges are the work of the flesh, and hence, without self love, become demonic in essence. It gets easier for women to resist as they get older, but biological urges are powerful when young. Having children and being in a bad relationship without self love, can be hell on earth. However, one can overcome! It's easier to avoid in the first place! LISTEN TO THIS MAN!

I just want peace and some joy and acceptance of myself as I am so I can self actualize to be the complete woman God wants me to be. Thank you for your guidance. We must love ourselves by taking care of ourselves and know our limits. Do what you are able without putting your own well being and life in jeopardy. As the old saying goes love what you do & do what you love. And hopefully it is something that will support a financial living for you

I love that statement "Inner definition" requires contant validation. In that prospective from a clinical perspective... the meaning is positive self-talk. AND reframe from self detachment (when you deny yourself you are detaching from your body). An individual must seek professional and spiritual help.
