Thats got to be one of the best vids you've made. You captured the passion they both have for their racing and the heart break when it doesnt go to plan. Listening to Snr impart his knowlege onto his son, was so infectious to watch. Well done Toby

Another good video mate, I was at toowoomba speedway as well and I must say how well run the joint is! Especially with the approaching rain they did an amazing job getting the whole program fitted and of cause with abit of luck too. Maybe some other speedways could learn a thing or too from the professionalism that these guys put into running a speedway event.

As an Atkinson myself and big sprint car fan I truly loved this vid. The sentiment of Ben snr is so true, you are doing a great job. Atkinson meaning "Nil sin labor" Nothing without Labour! So true. Txo

It was nice to meet Lachlan's people over this past summer in the U.S. I'm still representing my Sprint Car Sticker of the #101 on my daily driver. Hard luck at Sharon Speedway however I wasn't discouraged, still a McHugh fan.👍

As Benny Snr says you are doing a great job. Were you catching up on sleep because ofthe hectic lifestyle you are living these days. It was very interesting listening to the father/son conversations. Ben's Dad reminds me a little of Joey Saldana - I think it's the glasses! I was at the show and it was excellent - especially to get a feature in ahead of the rain - all of the features as it turned out.

Great video Toby shows the raw emotion of the sport the good the bad and the ugly. I just don’t understand BJ says he shows respect to other drives but chops down on Oldfield in the heat race hits his front end if it wasn’t for Oldfields experience and backing out and choosing to come 2nd he would of wrecked. In saying that in the A-main BJ had two options back out and loose a position or crash and he chose to crash silly boy

straights and corners are two totally different things. the chop pass happens a lot. with the seats the way they are hallett came from a blind spot. benny j wouldnt have seen him till the last second. if you listen you can here him getting on the brakes. if your going to slide someone you need to be clean about it not feed them a right rear.

When I race I can see my left side clear as day, but restricted by head containment on my right and I have a full containment seat. I don’t rate his racing style he drives very similar to Arron Reutzel crash to stay in front. He is a very arrogant kid, it’s okay for him to chop down off his line to crash into Oldfield but when someone does it to him he cries like a little girl can’t respect that very low grade racer with a lot of talent disappointing

@@tm3957 been bumping into ben jr in the pits since he was a little kid. far from arrogant. it was a piss poor slide job from hallett. all drivers chop down cause once your past someone you get to pick your line. im not a fan of chop passes but its part of racing.

I think I understand the way he races because I feel I was the same. It’s OK to be aggressive, but also respectful. He’s also done limited laps and will find his way as he does more. Thanks for watching, mate. -Toby

If broque Hallett had more speed for that slide job then would have been good but he slid up alot and he had nowhere to go plus you can hear the brakes. Really good video love these types of video. Keep up the good work

great coverage Toby and behind the scene footage and no holding back the language that's speedway racing. but gotta tread lightly when you being slide jobbed there's no way they can just get out of it once committed, i don't see Hallett as a dirty driver, it's just a bugger it took ben into the fence so early if he had of lifted and turned down ben might of got him back next turn. easy said in hindsight thou.

The way you wrote that comment is how I feel. Hallett isn’t a dirty driver. But every racer has made those type of moves. It happens. Glad you liked the vid.
