I had these leaf springs laying around for some time now, I think i bought them 3 months ago in February because i saw a good deal on them from summit racing, they are actually cheaper on amazon now, Summit racing bumped them up in price, i have the link bellow if you want to check them out. They are Pro Comp leafs so the quality is good, not some cheap knock offs. I was really happy with the install, its pretty much straight forward, with the exception of the front bumper removal that i didnt expect to remove the front bolts, i think that was just silly!!! Hey bud fellow 7.3 owner and KZfaqr :) just some food for thought, highly recommend an adjustable track bar, or a drop bracket for your current track bar. Now the truck is higher. Its putting strain on the components that keep the axle centered. Great vids man I'm glad you are with us and not a complete sell out.

i lifted my 03 f350 with a procrap lift kit 8.5 in the front and 6 in the rear a few months ago surprisingly its not a bad kit other then the nuts and bolts were trash and i used a adjustable track bar, but that was the first lift ive installed in almost 20 years and i remember lift kits being a weekend job, six pack a corner but at 42 now it took few weekends while my back and busted knuckles still hurt.

if you look at some of the older so much trucks, they do the same thing link to one side believe it or not it’s starting the engine, the torque on the starter with the engine

Hopefully you see this, I know you installed the pro comp 4in lift, were they shorter then the stock leaf springs? I ordered the pro comp 6in part number 22610 for the front but it's way off they measure at 51" and the original springs were 55/55 1/2" any advice would be appreciated, would I have to install the rear bolts to the springs and jack em up to get the front to be where they need to set?

I just installed a 6” procomp lift kit on mine but bc it is 2wd it only went up 4” amd I had to install a 2” block on the rear and truck sits perfectly leveled and tomorow I am putting 35s and 22” wheels on it, definitely like the way the truck sits rn,

Awesome project Nick , Have you thought about updating the Fords frontend to a newer model. I wonder what's the newest model year you can move up to that will bolt up . If the dash is in good shape you could always use that vinyl paint for Interiors. I used it on my front bucket seats when I was in high school on my budget hotrod lol and it lasted for years without even wearing out .they looked factory black and seats were originally green .

Any 05 -12 will bolt up with only a little drilling. You will get a wider stance and tighter turning radius

defiantly would do the drop bracket or adjustable track bar... i would also loosen the leaf spring bolts and retorque them with the load of the truck ....or you'll have leaf spring bushing wear faster

I've had several trucks both Chevy and Ford and most will lean to the driver side since the fuel take is not centered in the frame.

Nice vid Nick, to bad you didn't know about the swaybar link situation before hand. Frankly I've never done one so I would have missed those too. So glad you showed it in case I ever want to do one. The one thing I was wondering about was the steering Pitman (steering) arm on the steering box. I thought since it's now 4 inches higher it would pull passenger side in since you would have pull it up. I've seen lifted trucks and they usually have a Z bend arm that drops to meet the drag link. On a side note I did go out and measure my truck for lean like your's has. Mine doesn't have it. I'm at 17" at the top of the Lockers on my wheels and with in 1/4" of 23" to the center of the pull loops coming off the frame. The back is the same. For tires I'm running some Nitto Terra Grapplers LT285/75R16's on all four. They seem to ride stiff but don't make a lot of road noise. I would check your tire pressures, and ensure both brackets are the same. The only thing I can think of is a bowed up frame on one side if the brackets are the same. If the brackets are the same measure from the frame from front to back on both sides. That should tell you if you have a bowed frame. We have the same truck except mine is an SRW not a DRW. Suspension is heavier. (Springs) driveline parts And I think but not 100% positive I think the frames are little thicker.

If you have a 1/2" difference you may have to go to a frame shop and have them measure the rails. One side may have a 1/4" or more sway to it. Most likely from a overload sometime in it's life or an Impact. The Sway would be easy to find and repair about 5.0 hours at a Shop. BTDT. If you have a Gooseneck hitch in it I don't remember start looking there. A message from your Favorite Pilot. It will be in the Frame Rail I am sure. Prove me wrong... You are not the only one who has had that problem. You probably already know the answer. lol

I have a 2002 f250 ccsb 4x4 and the driver side sits a little lower then the passenger side. I thought that maybe the bolt for the front of the leaf spring was loose and egging out the hole in the leaf spring bracket. Did anyone find out what causes this

You must be in feeders. Working overnight and then turning wrenches, that’s hard. I’m in feeder and currently working on my Ford Super Duty (a oil pan and gasket replacement etc). .

I don't think it's cab sag, he measured on the frame not the cab. The leaf spring brackets probably need aligning or it needs some new holes drilled. Or he may have low tire pressure.
