Mortars are defenses that was great in the early stages of the game But now...they just exist. They really need good aim

Mortars really needs some buff because there are only 4 of it plus their stats are what makes them almost obsolete in the base because it's stats similar to lower class defense like cannon and archer tower. In comparison to Air defense which is equal in terms of numbers of 4 buildings their stats are a big difference since AD has 600DPS and Mortar has only 60DPS, also their hitpoints are not that high despite their quantity of being 4 meaning it should be place on higher category of defense threat level. 1 AD is threatening and powerful enough to almost take down a 30 Housing space air troop whilst a Mortar couldn't even hit and aimed a 1 housing space ground troop targeting towards it due to it's very low accuracy, low splash radius, and slower attack speed. Multi-mortar is better than mortar even the geared-up mortar because of it's DPS being higher and has wider splash range with multiple projectiles at once hence it's name. In conclusion, mortars needs major buff for it's low quantity and putting it a place or category where it is considered as or near threat to attackers.

Rage vs Poison vs Invisibility Tower would be a good idea.

Make cannon team (cannon,rico and geared cannon) vs Archer tower team (multiarcher tower,Archer tower and geared Archer tower)

The Mortar needs a buff. They should take inspiration from the Builder Base Mortar make it have a wider impact

mortar deserves buff

Maybe have morters get two barrels at later levels and fire at higher rates. The geared up version firing its shots surgically and not all in one Salvo. This increases hit rate since troops move to much and it won't take years to reload while also not changing the difficulty for newer players and their lower townhall.
