She never says “that’s disgusting” she just says “personally it’s not my favorite” and it really feels nice because there are people in that situation or have been in a situation where they had to eat say: the clay cookies. You might want to look into an instant pot, the main advantage of these is portability but neither of these seems to have a lot of Versatility beyond what you can get out of a standard small rice cooker or crock pot. If you're just setting up a desktop kitchen for a dorm or efficiency apartment you will get a lot more mileage out of an instant pot. That being said I suspect that these are a lot cheaper then a full-blown instant pot and I consider a rice cooker one of the most wonderful tools ever conceived for a extreme budget situation. Free Pro tip a good rice cooker can make a Zatarain's box simply by dumping in the ingredients in flipping a switch

I’m an RA at my university and unfortunately in the dorms a lot of these kind of products are not allowed. If we are lucky enough parents will donate a microwave in the common areas for students to use. Currently my dorm has a terrible microwave that no longer has the power to heat up food like an average microwave. Sometimes it’ll take 5-6 minutes to heat up ramen or any dish. This would be pretty neat to have if universities would allow it- but I would make sure with anyone’s college that these are allowed.

I love broccoli, and sugar snap peas rock! Those gadgets look useful, but I really think there's limited work environments where you could use them. Many places have restrictions on having hot pots or plates at your desk. And slow-cooking something could lead to a lot of criticism from coworkers who have to smell it cooking for lengths of time.

Everyone is talking about how this would piss their coworkers off, but I have my own office (as does pretty much everyone in academia) and this is pretty perfect for that! It just depends on what you do and where you work.

@@littlekitsune1 I’m not sure what you mean exactly. You asked if she was sure that was an impression of an employee person. I answered to the affirmative. As an employed person who comes home at midnight I make my lunch for the next day at that time. You have no need to be concerned about my health.
