Go SOONERS!! ...please? Where did our bats go? Arrrggghhh! I love my SOONERS, but if good pitching is the basis of our bad hitting, we're in trouble - because the pitching stays strong from here. We have struggled against average pitching, and we've lost against the best. There is a core of 5 big hitters - Coleman, Parker, Jennings, Hansen, Sanders - but they don't show up in the same inning. Lately, one or another hasn't shown up for the entire game. I don't know if this is fixable - by tomorrow... or in two weeks. And we can't depend upon a pitcher having a bad day in the Super Regionals. Can we comeback against OSU? My heart says the heroic 'YES'!, but my reality says: I hope so. Now for the other side: The opponent, OSU, hit 4-5 home runs? in a single game? There is an attitude that a pitcher must have - dominance! Without that attitude, a pitcher may be very good, but can't put fear in the batter's heart. Last year's Jordy Bahl was the classic example of the dominating pitcher: She walked it and she pitched it. I see now that it was contagious. Others in the OU pitching staff fed off Jordy's attitude of dominance. But Jordy is not here, and no one since has picked up the mantle. Matt: Along with everyone else, thank you. For one reason or another we could not watch the game live. So we offer our heartfelt appreciation for giving us the latest and keeping us up to date. You're the best. Thanks, again.

@@barryschultz4947 Really? OU Head Coach Patty Gasso's only option would have been to bring in Nicole May but that would not be a smart thing to do since May was today's starting pitcher vs. OSU. Head Coash Gasso has won 7 National Championships and I think she knows better than all of us fans not to use an unproven, inexperienced FR Pitcher Monticelli to pitch against the #4 team in the nation.

We just don’t have the pitching this year to get us to the Big Dance. And too many streaky hitters. OSU deserved the win and could take this series. They are better than Texas certainly and could win the Big 12 Championship. I hated that Maxwell’s showing was not as strong as I had hoped.
