What’s up my piano friends!! Today’s video we’re going go over 4 piano songs that are absolutely PERFECT to play even if you’re a complete beginner.
They’re easy… but they SOUND impressive. So, ya know, your friends will think you’re cool and stuff haha.
And not like “Mary had a little lamb” type songs - actual songs from the radio by Bruno Mars, Adele, and Ed Sheeran that you can learn pretty fast… and you only need one hand :-)
Oh… and we’ll be learning using “Chord Shapes” instead of sheet music - which’ll make things 10X easier (you’ll see what I mean in the video…)

Hey Zac, I’ve been playing for 5 months now using your Motivation Goal sheet and many of the exercises provided free online, I just watched your trills lesson from 6 years. I use many lessons online from good teachers but I think you have “cracked” the code. For some reason i would love to keep coming back to this video alone! It keeps re-inspiring a drive to play around with the keyboard, a literal ''book'' for dummies! The guarantee you'd understand, is so highly likely. Nobody would be left behind, as far as i can tell. Something a school most of the time, could *Never* brag about.

I just started playing two days ago. I understand counting keys for major and minor chords, but can someone please explain why G major used the D key to the left of G and not the D key to the right of G? Thinking it has something to do with the octaves?… Not sure if that’s the correct terminology. Thanks in advance.

I played for years as a child. I gave it up as a teenager after developing a neuromuscular condition that greatly impacts even the coordination of my individual finger muscles. I'm trying to start playing some simple, slow chord progressions for myself. I miss music and I am trying to understand that it's going to look different, but it is still possible.

I have a question. I was using this tutorial and the same keys on my piano sounds more low pitched than yours. I thought that same cords on a piano sounds similar Amon all pianos. Does this mean something is wrong with my piano? It sounds just like yours but the pitch is lower and I can’t find the exact same tune as you’re playing

My father said he will teach me, not you, but my father's easy teach was too hard because he was in Phase 3 on fast-sight reading on the piano that I am Phase 2 on fast-sight reading on the piano...
