@@phillipwilliams2803 How can you even type that with a straight face? Toby was much better than Tom, you actually got to see his backstory. Old Aunt May is better and wiser. At least in Toby's movies you got to see his suffering and to see his motivation, why he does what he does. Tom just piggy backed off of Toby's success and made some funny quips and used more technology, big deal. The only thing I liked about Tom's Spider-Man was his relationship with RDJ/Iron Man.

@@phillipwilliams2803 I mean, in the original comics even, the best friend was more than just the guy in the chair. He actually had his own drama to deal with like idk the fact that his father was the Green Goblin and how Spider-Man "killed" him. I mean why did they have to popularize such a minor enemy in the MCU in FFH? I just prefer the original movies because they actually are accurate to the comics and weren't trying to force feed some agenda. I mean, MJ in the original comics was a model/actress, not another nerd obsessed with finding out who Spider-Man is. Honestly speaking, I think all the movies don't show a fully accurate representation of Peter Parker but all of them play some part of him perfectly. Andrew, in my opinion, does Peter's brain pretty well, I think he shows how curious and smart Peter Parker is. Toby shows his struggles with being Spider-Man and how it affects his real life accurately, to a t in my opinion. And Tom shows his social awkwardness, but that's about it. I am not ok with them not even showing him once with a camera when he is a photographer!

@@projectstart5522 ok shut up about MJ her new attitude is the best plus I don't think they possibly could have used a better actress plus yes Tom does kind of piggy back off of Toby but in a way that's the point in a way was this is supposed be an attempt at something new I mean plus if they had tried to bring in the spiderverse when Toby was around it probably would've been kind of bad plus no matter how much you dislike tom he's actually part of the mcu so even if he dosent get more solo movies he'll still be around but at least tobys better then andrew

@@phillipwilliams2803 We can agree on that last part. A big reason why I liked the original movies is because of their MJ. The movies showed that the popular girl and the nerd who has had a crush on her since preschool, who also happens to be his neighbor, can get together. The new one is he had a crush on a girl, that girl moved away and now his crush moves to someone else and this one sticks. Maybe it's just me but I like the movies that have a long time crush that eventually get together rather than it just happening randomly. However, I do believe that the Marvel movies are supposed to be taken with a grain of salt since they are supposed to be apart of the MCAU, Marvel Comics Alternate Universe, meaning that they are not canon and don't exactly follow the original timeline and therefore don't follow the comics. There is one thing I think they did right with Andrew's and that was his brain, all the movies showed him as smart but Andrew's, in my opinion, really played the smarts of Peter Parker than any of the movies. I actually like some of the cartoons a little better than the movies because they did stay truest to the original comics.
