Waking up early in winters seems like an impossible task for most of us and despite knowing that it is crucial for us to wake up early, which is a time very important to be utilized for many important things such as exercise, day planning or simply for active & healthy lifestyle however we still fail to get out of bed early.
Waking up early not only has health benefits but it gives you an edge over your competitors, while they are sleeping you are doing something to get better. All successful people who have become the eyes of the world are early risers.
I have also been victim of not being able to wake up in the morning especially in winters, but I got really fed up of waking up late and literally hated the feeling of over-sleeping. Then I decided to research and cultivated the habit of waking up early.
In this video I have shared the steps that have worked wonders for me and now I don't even need an alarm clock to wake up early, which is why I am sharing these steps with all of you on this great platform called "you tube".
My purpose is to spread the message to everyone out there and even if one person found it relevant and benefited from it then that is going to be fulfilling for me.

I put my alarm clock across my room, and legos next to my bed. When i hear my alarm, I wake up and accidently step on the legos. The pain gets me awake.

and also, make sure you wear fleece pajamas (the one with buttons on it) and make sure you belt your robe extra tight in the morning, it supposed to help with the air flow. Oh and btw, Id love to be emperor and rule by your side:)

All u need is just A REASON to jump from bed early in the morning...that's all. It has become my habit to wakeup early since I have started going to school.. No alarm clock is required to wake up just body clock works fine almost everyday.

I would never touch the phone or watch any news that early in the morning, it's all negative. Beginning a day with positive thoughts only makes it better.

Something that I have done lately is install automatic blinds in my bedroom. I set it up so that at 5AM every morning the blinds open and my bedroom light starts goes from dim to 75% over 15 minutes. These are two things that have worked for me to wake up early every morning and not feel so tired.

yes, when you wake up and its light you feel much much much better than waking up in a dark room and then making it light up.

Won't help much in the winter when the sun isn't up til 0730 ;-) Excellent idea though [esp in summer].... I have wanted to do this for years... never yet got it done... ...designed it like 3 times already. ...Perhaps if I got up at 5am I could get it done.... ...d'Ohh!!!

@MisterL2 Weirdly enuf it can actually feel kinda 'cosy' doing the lights-suddenly-on thing... kinda cocooned feeling somehow... ..perhaps for me this is because I have pretty much only woken @ 5am for exciting special events like holiday trips... ...until recently - now my Kitteh wakes me at ~0520 or so most mornings :-)

Thanks for making this video. In weekend, I felt very lazy to get up of my bed and I spent my weekend just holding my phone... I don't have any plans to do on that day. I feel bored when my parents ask me to do the chores, I wasted my times with something useless.. and sometimes, I just watched someone success and I dreamed to be like them and now I realized, "How could I be like them when myself still regretting my own life?" And I was bad at organize my weekdays and weekend schedule and planning.. that's why I wanna thank you very very much cause now I know how to make my life better than before. Thank you 😢

Waking up early is not a problem for us we Muslims! Because Our religion urges us to wake up at dawn every day to pray dawn prayer and order us to organize our lives . ALLAH has put the universe in a constant way of order that everyone must follow, and if human beings break these customs, they will be late for everything, and they will be lazy, and they will not advance in their lives and will not succeed! Like those who stay up all night and sleep all day! Islam addressed this point as Islam is the religion of activity, work and progress💜 Good job

I always set my alarms (yes,multiple alarms) for 7 AM even though I cant bring myself to go to bed any earlier then 3 am. Even with all the alarms set, I always wake up at noon without knowing why and its horrible

Thank you. No one size fits all. Caution about sleeping in warm clothes. Some need to get colder to induce natural sleep cycles and alleviate tactile of clothing. Thanks again for compiling and publishing.

Even better than an alarm clock on the other side of the room is a QR code on the other side of the house... or down the road!! An app called Alarmy Pro has some great ways to turn off the alarm, scanning a QR code is one of them. Another idea I heard is to schedule an social network update to pay $1 to everyone who retweets your “I overslept” update. To avoid paying out, you have to delete the scheduled update before publishing, just be honest with yourself and do after you have slept!

i am getting eczeme of sleeping with socks on because my feet don't get fresh air with socks on.. the doctor telled me this,and since I ain't sleep with socks on I don't get eczeme and before I did

number 4 was a BIG ONE for me, I tried going cold turkey from 7:30am to 4:45, lol, needless to say it didn't go well, so yea, I'm already at 7am so now I'm gonna try for 6:30 and go from there

I taught myself to wake up ANY time. WITHOUT an alarm. Your brain can be trained. Have a routine for the moment you wake up-do isometrics while lying there. Wear warm but not hot clothes Repeat (just before you doze off) “I will wake up at…” Have coffee, clothes, breakfast materials laid out.

Sleep with warm clothes is definitely NOT a good idea. When we got tired our body needs completely relax and get recharged. If you wear warm clothes it will prevent normal sweat and blood flow, therefore it will directly effect your sleep. How can you be productive if can't get good sleep? ( Regardless of how many hours you sleep). Also, imagine you sleep in a room with warm heat on, it will feel terrible and it will cause other type of disease. I remember my doctor used to suggest me to wear less clothes possible when I sleep, it feels really comfortable and you feel great the second day. The purpose of sleep is to let every part of body get relaxed then you will have more energy to work and do things that are productive, simple as that. I don't understand why so many people treat sleep like a luxury, it is essential. So never ever feel guilty to sleep more. Just sleep.

Karen Z thanks a lot, i agree with your thoughts, sleep is definitely essential thus should be treated as such however with technological addictions, hectic work schedules a goodnight sleep has become a luxury of lucky people. Warm clothes idea is only for places with negative temperature. Thanks again

I understand what you said. I can't even can't enough sleep myself due to hectic work schedule, but that literally get me sick... it's not worth it if you can' t have a good health. And yeah, if there is no heat in the room during the winter, maybe people need to wear clothes to sleep.

You know, I've been beating my head against the wall trying to force my body to wake up early. That has never ever been natural in my entire life. I just got done reading a quote about how "it's not so much about what time of day you wake up, but what you do with your time during those hours of being up" Are you more productive as a night owl or as a early bird? Just because you adopted a new routine doesn't guarantee success in a healthy lifestyle. I can wake up early and sit in front of the TV for hours doing nothing productive with my time. But, I can wake up late...meditate, shower, eat breakfast..and actually be hungry...study, write, and exercise before I have to go to work. Like everything else in life, this will not work for everyone. Just something to think about.

Ulitmate Gamer I live in Florida and find it cold. what happens is when you become used to a certain temperature overnight,waking up to a completely different temperature is difficult. average temperature lately is in the 90s but in the morning it's in the 70's

I really like point no 4 set realistic goals I usually set my alarm like 3 hours before my waking up time and that is impossible me to get up even I tried like 1000 times now and I gave up I needed that advice thankx mate 😘😘

I recently start to wake up at 5am Then do meditation, affirmation, visualisation about my goals Then i listen morning music Brush my teeth Have breakfast Write to do list Then start my day at 7.00am And before going to bed i always tidy up my rooms Kitchen etc

I have to wake up at 6 everydat but I sleep at 3 then I wake up at 6 that's why I struggle to wake up early because I don't sleep well I have overthinking 😟 I think you need to sleep 9 hours in the night to wake up early in the morning

People in tropical regions usually don't have this problem. Most wake up by 5 am. The tropics are the ideal place to thrive and survive

yaa this was a vry good video but the idea of sleeping with warm clothes is not good in summer's how we can do it in fact if we are sleeping in chilled powerful AC

Well, I think the point is not to wake up in a winter day feeling cold and unable to leave the bed. This shouldn't be a problem in summer, unless you set the AC to be way to cold that the bed is warmer than the room haha

1. Give a good reason to wake up early, "Why should I wake up early?" Convince your self to wake up early. 2. Wear quite warm clothes in the bed so that you won't feel cold to get out of bed in the morning. 3. Keep the alarm clock out of your reach so that it compels you to wake up when it alarms⏰ 4. Be realistic when you are taking steps to change, when you are realistic while planning, you can change without frustration and stress. Now enjoy the change and move forward 😊

Single most thing that will help is going to bed earlier. Also, if you live in colder weathers, set your heater to automatically turn on (temp set to somewhat of a hotter temperature and you can use a timed power outlet for turning on) about an hour before your intended wake up time. This really helps, especially if you intend to work out in the morning.

It's really to sleep dressed for the quality of your rest... Just get a warm robe near by but I happen to enjoy getting up naked in the morning, it got me more comfortable in my own body and stretching like that : no restraint in your movements ! Plus my windows are open almost all day all year long so outside doesn't feel that cold and scary :)

kinguzi24 the reason is because when you sleep with Socks on, your feet are going to be in some kind of pain. For some people that pain arrives when they wake up and for some it will happen in the future.

What I have done to wake up early is install an alarm that rings extremely loud for 20 minutes. Then I would open my eyes, and think “ do I want to wake up early? 💭” if I really do, I jump out of my bed with so much courage and run over to the sink and dump extremely cold water on my face. Believe me, later you feel like you weren’t sleeping 2 minutes ago! :)

Guys I usually wake up at 5 then roll over and sleep till six take a shower and go back to sleep until I'm running out the door not ready ish so I stay up late and I do like all of the bad habits and hopefully this works!!! Excersising or if ur serious about a sport or like studying this helps and motivates u
