In writing ✍️ time Haaland has already crushed a few records, has 2 hat tricks one duce one single and one goal giving pass in his first 5 PL games. That's 1.8 goals per apperance. He can half his scoring pace and still end up as the topscorer ever in a PL season. If he keeps it up he ends up at 64 goals. Unlikely. But is Haaland we're talking about. Not CR7🤪 but in all seriousness, he crushes everyone with a good margin with these actual numbers. In sheer points he's the best ever so far. That's so insane. And it has been going on in pro football since he was 16. He's overall career efficiency since 16 to today is 0.7. So far.... He's 22 and got 135 pro goals. Not included 20 goals in 21 games for my country. This is from Aug2. He got 9 more now and the 0.7 stat keeps getting more impressive.

They might not get it right the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time but it's true tho. Some players need time to adapt to the way that another team plays. Haaland was injured almost half of last season, but still he scored 43 goals in 39 games (in total..Bundesliga, Champ.league, german cup, the national team). He has scored 13 goals in 9 games for the national team this season. Only in june (last month, he scored 5 goals in 3 Nations league games). Seems like some people expect Haaland to score 4-5 goals each game and over a 100 goals a season, or else he will be a flop. 🙄 Certain people have waaaaay too high demands for him. They dont have that for others. He is still only 21 which people seems to forget, so he is constantly developing. I feel the lack of respect for Haaland by people calling him overrated and the talks about him being a flop is just because he is Norwegian. 🙄

Regarding the playing styles issue, a striker doesnt need to depend on playing style. He just needs the ball in front of the goal. A striker can play in any team, any style as long as he still possesses venomous finishing.

The lack of respect for Haaland is just because he is Norwegian. 🙄 He hasnt showed any signs of being a possible flop. He adapt quickly to new teams/leagues. He works hard to be better and improve at everything. He doesnt settle as most flops do… they are happy just cashing money. Haaland LOVES playing. He has scored 135 goals in 82 matches in 3 different leagues . all of those had different playing styles. On top of that, Scandinavian players adapt quickly. They speak the language, they are used to the weather and climate (which South Americans obviously isnt). Its a bigger chance for Nunez to flop than Haaland. As I said…he is Norwegian, while Nunez is South American, so Haaland will be a flop while Nunez will be a force in the premier league.. 🙄

Everyone goes on about bundesliga tax but doesn’t bother to look at the players who haven’t succeeded. Notice how they don’t play for city. Now look at the ones who do/did. KDB, sane, gundogan. All three are players who have thrived in the premier league. Guardiola knows how to get the best out of players and haaland will be no different. People think that haaland is not a skiller because of his height etc. He is not the best skiller but give him a ball on his feet and he will keep the bal there against the best defenders in the world. Haaland is a monster

Well Pepe did twerk his system to fit Lewy to be fair... And he has not been playing his style to full effect since Aguero... So if anything Pep twerk his system according to players he has...And even if he should fall 20% in goals, that would still be top scorer....Haalands attitude is right on the money so nothing to gain there either... I´m more worried abouth defense and midfield staying relative fit next season

I'm a Liverpool fan myself and in my opinion, even if he doesn't perform perfect in his first, second for 3rd game we can't blame him because as mentioned, every team has their own dynamic and way in which they play. So for a new player to come in and be expected to hit the ground running from the get go would be unfair towards them. They need to get use to the way other teams play and that is why I don't blame Nunez for his first performance which made all LFC fans feel terrible but it is true if you look at it that way. Any new player that comes from a UCL to a EPL will take time to adapt.
