What's your top reason for wanting to own a motorcycle? Or if you already have one, why did you choose to buy? I'll start... I fell in love with motorcycles at the age of 16. Two years ago, I got a Honda Hornet and had that for a year. Then, I bought an R1 and felt out of my depth. I sold the Hornet and got a cheap GSXR 600 to get used to sports bikes. Now, I'm on the R1, documenting my journey.

Riding since I was 5 yrs old (50 years ago) I've raced motocross for the most of it, I currently ride an R6. I ride for the freedom and emotional aspects. A friendly biker is only a nod away 😊

Old man wouldn’t let me have a motorcycle growing up, so as soon as I had enough money saved at 17 I bought a Suzuki GT185. Now at 55 and 30+ motorcycles later, I’ve bonded with my two KTM 1290 SDR’s 🔥 Fantastic machines that continue to make me giggle like a school girl and do naughty things 😂🍻

Not sure about the cost saving aspect ;-) Maybe if you buy a bike to commute on and not have a car. As a family Dad I need a few cars for basic family movement. The bikes are toys that I cannot live without and ride as often as I get a chance, but it certainly is not a cheap affair. Add to that the gear required, and my recent obsession with also filming rides... At the end of the day it's all worth if in my case and provides spiritual satisfaction that cannot be valued. Agree with all of the points of a sense of freedom and connection to the bike.
