I have scoured KZfaq and found you guys the best hawaii real estate channel for several reasons: 1. You guys get personal by showing us your past homes and stories. Feels like I knew you guys in the past and we just ran into each other after years catching up. 2. There is no perfect home or neighborhood regardless of the money involved. You guys give a balance of pros and cons. Most channels just pure sales and show only pros. Dishonest. 3. Knowledge of different regions of hawaii is key to any agent and you guys show it in past vids. 4. A lot of the vids are very informative from a mainlander perspective. It’s not just home showing but also neighborhood exposure. You can’t move the home so showing the area is what I love. I am planning on retiring in 12 years on Oahu as my wife is from there. I will definitely look these guys up after selling my West Los Angeles home to buy in Oahu.

Great job explaining the different communities. My wife and I dream of moving to Hawaii in a few years. Appreciate you showing the real Hawaii. This helps us understand what options are out there.

Aloha Derek & Mahe! I’ve been thinking about something that might be helpful to your viewers to understand. That’s “bringing their pets with them to Hawaii.” Hawaii has unique laws in place to quarantine pets for a couple weeks, if they haven’t had a couple of rabies tests, very close to you bringing your dogs to Hawaii. I so many people have “furry loved ones.” Because your channel helps people understand not only the neighborhoods, communities and lifestyle of living in Hawaii, bringing your pets there is a very big deal and much different than any other state in the union. I thought, perhaps putting a segment together on that might be helpful for many people. Keep up the fantastic work. Aloha! Larry

Just a thought… Is there some kind of charity that you guys can get behind there locally to give a portion of your commission to in order to assist people that need it? We aren’t “wealthy people.” We are probably those people who would be looking at a condo up in Makakilo that accepts dogs. That’s very important to us. We should have bought our daughter a condo in Ward a couple of years ago. She rents in Ward now, but the price for a condo in the building went up approx 200,000 :( in that time.Ward is such a great area for young professionals and active families.

Lanikai/Kailua and Ward Village…sounds like this KZfaq channel is paying nice dividends with Mainland clients! As I’m inching closer to my hopeful move to Hawaii in a few yrs, my top two areas are really concentrating in Kailua and the new Kakaako/Ward Village areas like many others. The easy living with access to all the creature comforts as well as the ocean delivered by both of those areas is hard to beat. What I’m frightened/shocked about is how crazy the prices in the new condos area is getting…it seems to almost take at least $3M to have front row view of Diamond Head right now which is insane…

"Manhattan of Hawaii" turned me off. I personally don't like the area around UES & UWS. For people who might misunderstand when hearing this moniker, I like to compare the future park to Yerba Buena Gardens in SF. So not to worry, it's not gonna be filled with riff-raff like the areas in & around Central Park.
