@@pantoreview the bits I could see was good. Rob madge stole the show in my opinion and was a nice twist to the story. Julian’s costumes I thought personally wasn’t as weird and wacky as last years production of Jack and the beanstalk however still a great laugh and each costume goes one step above the last. Jennifer Saunders as hook was done really well and I see Jennifer becoming a recurring actor for a few more years, I feel like the rolling tumblers from Zippos circus could have had a few more scenes and it felt slightly short their scene. The twix fx has a few props and models used throughout too which adds a wow factor and helps break apart the show so it doesn’t feel repetitive. I don’t want to give too much away however if you go I think you shouldn’t go for the Dress circle, row L seat 59 as it limits the view to the front half of the stage only due to the set designs. However I asked the host for that door if I can stand up at the back to see the sets and he very kindly said yes so I managed to catch most the sets in the end.
