I tried Snactiv and it was a big fail for me. James only tested it with snacks in bowls. I think most people eat snacks out of the bag or box, which he didn't test. The big difference is unless it is a big bag you can't make a fist and put it in the bag/box without scraping the sides. So you instead make a flat hand (paper for rock, paper, scissors). With flat hand these barely stick out farther than your fingers. So unless you lift the bag to look carefully, and are very careful, your fingers will brush the sides or brush the snacks since you have to put your hand in so deep. Instead I use some cheap seven inch tweezers that I ordered online. The tweezers can be used without looking into the bag, unless you use fragile chips, and the fine tip doesn't collect much 'debris'. And picking it and putting it down is not a big deal.

@@elementalist1984 It's more like one of those products that if you are part of a demographic, makes all the sense in the world to buy into. I can think of three kinds of people who would want this. Gamers are probably the first type. It keeps your mouse/keyboard/controller clean from stains/grease. Related to the first - the second might be those who do a lot of work in front of their computer. Whether you are a student, office worker, or somebody who does a lot of editing work, people who are stuck in front of their computer hours at a time would benefit. Then there is the third type. People who hate messy eating. For these, it can be just be a mild annoyance, or full blown OCD who just can't deal with stuff on their hands. For these, this is also a solution. One of the great things about creating something isn't necessarily about a solution in search of a problem, but rather something that has wide applications that extend beyond a small group of people, and in my opinion, this is marketed brilliantly.

Just a possible suggestion: when you test review items that are related to mobile phones, would you mind testing them with a phone case over the phone? Many people (like myself) invest in phone cases to prevent damage to our phones or grips like pop-stands, but many, MANY accessories are not made to compensate for the extra size irregularities and are nearly useless. Knowing this before purchasing would be great!

As someone who suffers from motion sickness really badly, I got a pair of glasses similar to what you used, I found it can help, but only in situations where the motion is fairly minor, but don't get rid of the feeling. When you get big waves, really twisty bumpy roads, and/or turbulence they don't do too much as the liquid is kinda all over the place. Honestly after a few times trying them I gave up using them. I gave them to my brother who gets motion sick, but not nearly as bad as me and they did better. Major waves/bad roads would still get to him, but he could play on his phone in the car no problem on normal roads. Overall, mileage will vary like most motion sick items, but worth a shot if you find a fairly cheap pair. I'll stick with meds haha.
@compzac

Im like you in that i tend to get very motion sick, but ive never really seen a need for these type of devices, in like being on a boat they are totally useless, and even driving in a car, well the solution ive found that always works and costs absolutely nothing, put the phone down roll the window just a tad so you have some air blowing past your face and watch the stuff moving outside, seems like a better option than playing a game on a phone for 20 minutes then hurling at the side of the road or plastering moms spaghetti down the side of the family truckster at 55 miles an hour

There's three types of motion sickness: 1 - Motion that's felt but not seen. All vehicle sickness, spinning dizziness and VR falls into that. 2 - Motion that's seen but not felt. Sickness caused by watching unstabilized video and VR falls into that. 3 - Motion that's both seen and felt, but both sensations don't correspond with each other. Simulated gravity sickness and the coriollis effect fall into that.

I have a cell phone holder that works great for watching TV in bed. I got it at Walmart a few years ago for $5.00. It has a bendable thick wire that goes around your neck with the cell phone holder in front attached to both ends of the thick bendable wire. There is a foam rubber piece ( just slightly thicker than the thick wire) that is about 5 or 6 inches long for your neck for comfort. I wouldn't wear it outside in public, but in a car or maybe making a recipe and want to have the instructions and ingredients right in front of you. You can adjust it pretty well for how far away you want your cell phone to watch a movie, TV, etc. I liked that my arms didn't get tired holding my cell phone watching a movie. Plus, I could have a snack or drink now that my hands are free to do both. The thick bendable wire gets a little misshapen after using it for a while, but it still works well.

Can you rate top 5 or 10 bluetooth beanies based on sound quality, comfort ability, bonus features, etc? I use a Nearon Beanie currently and the USB plug in the beanie is so fragile you can easily damage it to the point of not being able to charge it anymore, would be cool to find a sturdier one with the same or better audio quality.

I enjoy watching your reviews as I know you will tell the truth about the items. If I had the money to spend I would buy what you recommend as good buys. Even though I can't afford to buy your videos are interesting enough. Keep up the great work.

I have never had motion sickness from planes or boats, even in the ocean fishing, but one certain xbox game called Halo (a newer version) gets me quesy within about 10 mins playing it. I think its the refresh rates. I think its because i still use a Plasma TV with a refresh rate capability of 600Hz, whereas even the newest LED LCDS are around 120HZ. Thats the only thing I can think might be causing it. maybe I should try these gaming with HALO.

@compzac 2 жыл бұрын
60Hz thats what TV's run at not 600Hz and the refresh rate of the TV has very little to do with the game causing you to feel sick, if that was the case you'd just about get sick watching TV for years because 60Hz has been the default standard for NTSC and even later digital compression and transmission systems, just because the TV can pump out 120Hz doesnt mean the signal its getting is, also i would check the Frames Per Second of the game before blaming the TV the game console probably isnt playing a smooth frame rate and your probably noticing that.

@zachary carlson Nope, its something with the refresh rates. we can play it on my Sons new 70" LED and its not an issue. And he has actually changed the video settings in his Xbox , it just ends up prolonging the inevitable though. Definitely something different about the Plasma vs the LED/LCD.

I'm curious about the battery life of the beanie. Using the Bluetooth headset feature while laying in bed could be beneficial especially for people like me who prefer hearing something while trying to fall asleep.

My grandmother-in-law gifted me a toboggan with that exact style of flashlight in it, but my version doesn't have the Bluetooth player. It wouldn't surprise me if these toboggans are mass-produced by a single Chinese company and then rebranded by numerous different American sellers.
