Once I found out about REITs I switched my RESP and RRSP over to them as soon as possible. District REIT is administered by Olympia Trust or Community Trust. I feel like it's a pretty good way to invest in real estate without dealing with the headaches. Thanks for putting it all in context, Darren.

Great info! The only thing I want to point out is that REITs pay out dividends as distributions. What that means is that they are taxed as normal income and not dividends. If you hold them in a TFSA/ RRSP then this won't apply. But if you hold them in a registered account, it's something to keep in mind. Just want to put that out there for clarification :)
