Four people were shot - one fatally - on a street corner in the Bronx Tuesday evening by shooters riding on scooters.

Does anyone remember the Giuliani era? Street crimes units, Stop and frisk, aggressive enforcement, aggressive DAs, tough judges? Midtown was like Disneyland and criminals were reluctant to carry a weapon. I don't miss New York one bit and I'm very happy in Florida.

In 2018 I took a gamble and walked 2.3 miles by myself from a rave in the Bronx to my air bnb since I was broke, lucky nothing happened. Such a possible stupid decision. Leave New York

It is basically the same M.O. seen in South America. Two men on a scooter or motorcycle that pull up and assassinate the "competition", so there is a change in who runs the area. Immigration is not what it used to be, so people need to wake up.
