Although I use the GH5 and GH5s as examples in this video, the exact same application applies for almost any camera, so take what I have said and apply it to your camera and see if it helps you.
My settings:
Natural Colour Profile:
Contrast - 2
Sharpness 0
Noise Reduction 0
Saturation - 1
Hue - 1

I've had the GH5 for years and I've been quite frustrated with rubbish image quality as it's been worse than my phone...until now! I cannot begin to thank you for the astronomical difference in image quality in comparison just by following your settings. THANK YOU!

I stopped watching Matti Haapoja when he made a badly thought clickbait video about the GH5. He brought up a variety of "problems" which were either easily solved or not problems at all, just because he had jumped on the GH5 bandwagon for clicks and needed to justify why he stopped using it.

Is it possible to take the skin tone/color from a person in a video, and put it onto yourself? Meaning, if I put myself into a video and want to match the color of the other person in the video, is that possible in an easy way?

Looking at a GH5 CineLikeD is see it's recorded in BT709, that's OK for me bc I can ajust my screen from sRGB to REC709 gamma, but : When file is edited & rendered is this the time when you are gonna shift the file to the sRGB PC gamma space, let's say for a KZfaq usage ? Sorry never touch a digital cam before. BTW nor problem with color space as R709 and SRGB are sharing the same.

so for your white balance. you always move the adjustment in white balance away from the green all the time? then adjust white balance after?

Correct...likewise if I'm filming a wedding or event indoors and there's a pink/purple cast from the venue/walls I'll move it towards the green and actually custom set it for that event.

That's the 42.5mm f1.7 Lumix lens. Really an underrated lens and it has built in OIS.

@@RICH_Photography super thanks! I'm wondering of buying the 45mm F1.2 Olympus, I'm happy to see what kind of results I'll obtain (as it is a similar lens as yours). Unfortunately it does not have any image stab BUT it has a linear focus wheel which is important as I film in manual focus all the time! :)

Romeo Warden yeah this is a hard decision. I would say whatever is more important to you. Linear focus, oiS, f1.2 or f1.7

@@lovefirst6157 i bought the 45mm Olympus. I tested it in a shop and it was really smooth to focus. And as the Gh5 has a really good stab, the shot was nice even handheld :)

Is V Log L and V Log the same?

No vlog l is like the little brother of vlog. The weird thing is that it does not really provide insane amount of dynamic range like the regular vlog. The vlog l highlights clips at 82 ire which is a faraway from real vlog at 100 ire. Even at 100 ire, vlog can recover those highlights. Vlog is a lot better than vlog l

@@mhweddingfilms gh5s only comes with vlog l. You can't get the real vlog. Panasonic new bgh1 has vlog L too but it is much improved over the gh5s vlog L so we will see if they update the gh5s to the latest vlog L.

Where do you access those Hue/Saturation Curves in FCP - from which menu?

The sideways triangle next to the volume control in the top right. It gives you the option of Color board, colour wheel, hue/saturation curve....and there's another one I just can't think of.
