I watched your video a week ago and ordered all the supplies online that night. I've caught about a million white flies and some regular flies too. Those yellow sticky sheets are a game changer. I spray, put them on, and then spray again. It seems to work most effectively that way. Anyway, thanks for the video and combat help.

I liked the slow-mo bug squish, yea. I haven't seen Thuricide in the UK but will ask the store for an alternative, I get those huge Elephant Hawk Moth caterpillars which are veracious eaters. Ok good tips thanks.

@TheGardenNerd do the sprays change the flavor? I tried a natural spray once, and all of my grapes had a peppery taste to them. Do you use both the insecticidal soap and BT within days of each other?

Hummingbirds eat white flies, if you can entice them into moving into your yard with hummingbird feeders they will tend your grape vines after harvest when the white flies seem to come.

Wondering how to fend off SLF from my yard grape vine. This past summer was brutal.NE zone 7a. Going to try these measures as well. P.S. Neem oil spray any comments.

Try watering more deeply and less frequently. This will encourage the roots to grow deeper, be happier and also flush out any salt which would cause leaf burn.

That's weird, it could be the birds but they usually wait. I've never heard of anything messing with them while they're still so small.

Same with mine. I had many tiny tiny clusters of grapes and some ate the tiny bb's off. Can't find anyone to answer the question as to what might be eating them!!

Need help with my grapes, they keep tasting sour. Could you help me with how i can make them sweet. Ive read a bit and i heard i might be harvesting them early and maybe thats why theyre sour, i harvest them imediately they turn purple.

This causes leukemia & other cancers. Big Box Stores stopped selling a few years now. The international market sells them.

Very basic info- not for folks with hundreds of vines- then you’ll need a solo backpack sprayer, and real bee netting- either installed on its own trellis wire or the kind you bring out in summer and take down after harvest. In our area, we have vines up and over fruit by July 4th.

Correct, most people don't have 100s of vines, just one or two.

The white fly is my worst enemy. They eat up my grape vine and leave me nothing

They are the worst, you have to stay on them and be consistent, otherwise you'll lose the battle!

Kid playing with insecticide, chemicals are poison... hope you're not putting that top in your mouth while dad is busy making KZfaq content and ignoring you with the chemicals.

Where were you a few years ago when I made this video? I could have used your parenting advice back then. Too late now...that kid of mine grew an extra big toe and has 3 thumbs now...probably because of the insecticides I was allowing him to drink while I ignored him to make this video. It was probably worth it though because ignoring him allowed me to make this video, which you were able to watch and then take the time to make this comment. Without this video, you'd probably still be in your parents basement, watching random videos and making criticizing comments to people you know nothing about. Thanks for watching!
