U are playing on the 10th and 12th fret and it sounds right, but your tab says 8th and 10th fret.I dont know if you noticed or any one else told u that but if you can please see to it. I think you are making it too hard. For me, it is easier to keep the middle finger on the bass line and just walk it up and down. You can then finger the C, C#dim, etc. by alternating your first finger and ring finger. No need for the contortions to get the base line.

Ive never heard of this song. It sounded a little flat
