One of my personal best investments i always bring with me to any tournament (locals or huge events) is a camel pack bladder. Fill it up with water and put some pieces of ice in there and it will last you throughtout the whole event. I swear i get a bunch of complements of "damnit i should of thought of that" I highly recommend getting one

Here's a little something to support that first hint. I went with 3 friends to the fall Indianapolis regional last year, and one of them brought along with him something for the weekend that saved our stomachs from hunger and that was huge bulk box of nature valley bars. We were able to make the box last both days at that tournament for the most part but without it we likely would have been in a hella lot of trouble since the other two friends of ours were official judges for both days of the event, such that their ability to judge the tournaments would likely have been very significantly affected. Therefore, the moral of the story is: BE PREPARED WITH FOOD FOR BIG EVENTS!!!!!!

Basically just to summarize this video: -Get some enough rest and foods to eat. - Know yourself, know the enemy.

One thing I like doing to prepare for a big event is playing 2 of my decks against each other (playing with myself lol) but giving the one I'm not using for the event a big 8 card pre-selected advantage. This helps me practice against being at a disadvantage and helps me think about 2 decks at the same time. This helped me reach top 8 in 2015 and Top 3 with a Continentals appearance in 2016 :)

Some players can be so toxic. My locals for example are cancerous cuz there are some of them that called themselves senpais and acted so high and mighty.

What about a video covering how to properly analyse an opponents deck during play? By this typically mean when you go against something rouge and how you should approach your opponents deck. This could include finding the deck's common trends and strategies, before it catches you off-guard. I know that rouge decks won't be good in the upcoming format with the inclusion of the Star Gate Booster and G Set 14 but maybe this might be a good topic in the near future once the new mechanic rolls around.

I would love to see more prep videos. I'm a new player in the past six months and am looking to start toppling my local shop tournaments or four and five rounds:) maybe a regional sometime but definitely I want to compete with my local bros, they are very good lol

How about a video talking about playtesting, deckbuilding, and the process of choosing which cards to include in a deck or not. I know a few people at my locals who struggle with deckbuilding amd balancing, and as a result they never top or even come close to topping

I'd like to see a meta tier list video again of set 14. I know you did one about Stargate, think you did about set 13 but can't recall. Maybe also some key combos some topping decks are doing and how to cope with them? Not many people know how to cope with fenrir Wiseman loop etc. I'm a really big fan of your work btw, I watch like all of your videos when they come out xD. And I agree, know your deck and know what it can do and at the same time, keep in mind what the opponent is doing to best counter them. Stay awesome ;-)

For a possible future content, i would like to see your 'Vanguard Collection' like what/how many decks do you currently have and so on throughout the time you have been playing vanguard.

I see you have talked about look at the decklist in Japan and know the cards when XX set relist. I think you should talk about some different that Japan and US may have. For example, TD Luard in the US for some reason, you are not allowed to stride for free when you ride a new G3, but in Japan, you are allowed to do that. I hope you could make some video to talk about those effects.

The misplay thing actually happened to me at a tournament (he used Samuel’s skill with only two RG). I got what he was doing but the damage was 5 to 1 and felt bad for him so I just let him do it. I won in the next turn.

i needed this. i was at my locals saturday and i went 2:2 when i was playing messiah. i lost to gurguit (cause of a stand crit) and victor but beat blasters and blau.

Lol I memorized all the cards in my deck and I know the combos and stuff but I always forget about using esras during main phase and 2 cards in my deck need a ritual vg to work which i usually don't have for 1st stride since I still use doomed belial combo XD
