To help you as a content creator, another way to get the horns is to do the boss fight, even on gamma because death worms spawn in there as well. Any difficulty works (I think death worms still spawn in alpha but not sure) and if you want to kill them faster bring a megatherium as they'll get the bug buff from them. This is coming from an official PvE player.

I killed a desthworm today on Asa kn scorched no black pearls. I pushed a thyla with cap saddle 😢

You have only 2 deads, youre a legend! And yes the death worm way is the best and funniest and it gives a lot xp so win win.

Phoenix doesn't work, in unpodded it 200 times and only silica. (It always poops on unpod).

yea seems to be the case with mine also. Only silica pearls. They must have taken it out of the game

Use a tek helm to see them underground. Makes it alot easier

I have a mate boosted pair of rexs with 15kHP and 400 melee is that good enough for deathworms? And maybe alpha deathworm?

Yep should'nt be any problem at all for normal deathworms. For alpha deathworm you might need better saddles on them because that one hits a lot harder✌

You can get black pearls by fishing at red obelisk

Do you need a good fishing rod?

@@juanml.jimenez8094 It helps, but the fishing loot is random. with a good pole you get more, but you cant get a good one on SE, you'd have to import it.

my main base is in the south desert and i havent seen a single one... im sitting on 2k element bc i still have 0 black pearls in order to make my tek rep

I have heard that they apparently don’t spawn on some worlds for some reason. Have tou actively looked for them around the map also?

I did finally find 2 tonight, but I went with a ground mount all the way around the outside of the map until I was back to my base. Took a bit longer going over the north east corner. 2 hours later cane home with 12 bp... :/

@@clicktockclock FWIW for you and others, on singleplayer I was getting them sporadically and then not at all. I ghosted down, saw them all over, but any time I ride close they're *despawning* instead of aggroing. No idea why but maybe others are having this issue without realizing it.
