I can’t remember its name, but if you like to create your own characters there is a mod that will give you family that you can customize. It also gives you backstory options like peasant leader or basterd founder from a larger dynasty. Edit: mod name is sensible family

Missing Cultural armies redux, that mod is amazing mist have adds unique cultural men at arms to each culture with graphics and descriptions historically. Makes armies for each kingdom actually feel like foreign forces

I liked the tribal system in ck2 where instead of levy contributions your vassls would join as allies or not depending on how much they like you. This primitive approach is really fitting, they should definitely bring it back

Curated Map Colors is a really good map mod I like it gives Titles colours that are like the colours they had in CK2 Hip mod

90% of this is inmy modlist already. I also threw in Bookmarks+ for extra performance loss. 5x speed is really just 3.5x speed. It also looks like you need to enable the gamerule patch for medieval arts in cow3's settings.

Is there a mod to allow you to add universities? Really think it should be part of the game by default, because it makes sense that regardless of where you are, if you have the money, you should be able to build a university, whether it is in Russia or Persia.

I wish the game by default or that there was a mod that made it possible to change Crown Authority by duchies, kingdoms and empires rather then it counting for the entire realm. How it is currently makes it impossible to make proper crown lands and personal unions.

Summer sale hit I finally converted from Pirate to legit. Smashed the subscribe all mods on the link. Amazing stuff but regions expanded is brutal. 867 start and 5x speed is like 4x in 1300+. I really like the new counties but I think I'll have to turn it back off unless I'm willing to patiently run 4x. I'm scared to think how bad it gets end game.

Not sure what it's like on other people's but I choose an Icelandic start with it stipulating no heir or spouse. When the game loads in I have both an heir or more, and a spouse. Is it a bug perhaps on the More Provinces Expanded mod or a load order. Just wondered if anyone else had the same

clearing all notification mod: You literally can clear all notification by simply right clicking on the notification. It will clear everything. No need to saturate your game with unnecessary mods.

Lol, you know the game is trash when most of the mods are really just fixes. btw is there a mod that fixes the issue of your King being the only person in your court that shares your culture and language? Historically having your King surrounded by foreigners would've sparked an uprising, but in ck3 it's just seen as normal. Your court starts out full of your culture, but after a week you may only have one or two. The rest are foreigners just loitering about. It should be the other way around, maybe 3-4 people in your court are from another culture and the rest should be of your own. It would be more historically accurate. It has to do with too many courtiers on the map being set to "wanderer", it should be limited to like 2 characters in each court across the map, that would be plenty. It's insane that 14 out of 16 courtiers are wanderers. CFP and EPA are both essential mods, but you can't use them with any of the overhaul mods so you're stuck with the spiteful mutant models that Paradox made. Seriously once you use EPA(Ethnicities and Portraits Expanded) you will find it almost impossible to play without it because you probably never really noticed just how bad the vanilla models for characters are.
