***** You know nothing about the lore do you? Lmao, numerous legions, especially the Iron Warriors, do not pledge or serve the chaos gods. They acknowledge their existence, but do not like to implement Daemonic resources. Ran into hiding after reducing the emperor into a skeleton, and sending the Imperium into a Dark Age LOL. Justice? You mean like exterminating entire planets for not wanting to join the Imperium? Or purposefully sending guardsmen into the warp with the Inquisition, then killing them all because they were in the warp? The only "Good" race is Tau, who actually take people in.

Great vid but "current" Chaos Marines are made up of very few original Traitor Marines from the Horus Heresy and had to steal gene-seed to make new Marines. These new marines are not made with the same quality as "current" Loyalist Marines and rely on demonic powers to make up for lack of training. In fact from the books I have read, some warbands don't even want the powers and corruption from the Chaos Gods and choose to fight their own way. The Night Lords are one example where whole companies went their own way and try to avoid the "Eye" unless they have no choice.

the term "Traitor" marines refer typically to the members of one the nine legions of Horus while "renegades" tends to more often to be used to refer to marines who have fallen since the Hersey like the Astral Claws/Red Corsairs. This "rule" however is somewhat flexible. Also there are "renegade" space marines that are outcast from the Imperium but not loyal to chaos like the Legion of the Damned and the Soul Drinkers. and ps. Death to the False Emperor

Black Legion, because most deamon primarchs are allied with them and Abaddon has spent alot of time collecting other warbands under his name.

Cool Fact about the 1000 Sons, The Blood Ravens are one of the most secretive Space Marine Chapters, the origin of their gene seed and the founding of their brotherhood is largely unknown. However their gene seed has a ton in common with the 1000 sons, and ive read rumors in warhammer lore about a traitor legion seeking redemption.

+Inquisition31 Before I make my point: I don't think the Blood Ravens are from the World Eaters, I do think the Ravens are form the 1000 sons, but there are a shit load of black shield chapters that where from the World Eaters. Angron kept most of his loyalist marines that didn't have butchers nails in the Sol system to keep up the hoax that he quit using the implants to fool the emperor. So of those grand companies many remained loyal to the emperor and many World Eaters did not follow Angron into madness. That being said, I am sure there are various units from all the Traitor Legions (with the exception of the Black Legion/Sons/Luna Wolves) that remained loyalist.

Well... the beginning was a bit confusing as there is a strong difference between renegade chapters and traitor chapters. Renegades are chapters that succumbed to chaos after chorus heresy but do not belong to the chaos faction as a whole, and will often clash with chaos warbands and imperial forces. They can also be a loyalist chapter that had excommunicate traitoris declared on them, sometimes for political reasons, but they still remain loyal and fight chaos whenever they can. Knights of Blood are an example of that. Space Wolves are also very close to be called renegades.

There are Renegade Chapters that are still Loyal to the Emperor. The Relictors and Soul Drinkers are two examples that come to mind.

Correction on Alpharius bit, When the ultramarines killed one of the alpha legion Primarchs, but the problem was that they couldn't identify them because All Alpha legion marine's looked exactly the same, so they don't know if it was Omegon or Alpharius that they killed

Not all 'current' chaos marines date back to the heresy. New chaos marines are created from humans deemed suitable and it is not unknown for bands of Imperial Space marines to turn to chaos directly or turn to common piracy. Also, you pronounced Abaddon incorrectly.

One I find odd is that the only gift is to become a Daemon Prince, instead of pretty much any daemon. I mean, Daemon Princes certainly should be difficult, as it is a pretty big reward, but become one of the lesser daemons should be a more attainable reward. Basicallly, less effort for a lower prize. Of course, everyone would rather be a Prince, but if you're a lowly servant who really doesn't have anything special, becoming one of the lesser daemon would be a pretty big deal either way, BUT you're fated to be always pushed, abused, summoned, used, by pretty much anyone with the means to control you, which means you'll be forever a low-rank servant of chaos.

It was confirmed that space marines can die of old age, they just have never lived long enough to die of old age, the eldest space marine (not traitor) I believe was a chaplain in the ultramarines, also he is a playable model in the game.

Just an additional note: They may be superior in training/experience due to their lifespans and soul reincarnations but each organisation and individual within said organisations are much more selfish, thus they will not hold the line if things aren't going their way. Also, I'd like to put in a request to hear of non-Chaos renegade marines.

The alpha legion battle cry is still for the emperor, so they never truly turned to the chaos gods, we're just pushed out of the imperium. Alpharius might still be alive as no-one knows who he is.
