Instead of "heretics" it sounded like "hair techs" and I had a great mental image of a shadowy organization of Logician hair stylists trying to take over the 40K universe through clever fashions.

I am one of the biggest fans to have never played any of the games, but the lore and world building is something else. Thanks for breaking everything down. If I ever play the games it will probably be because of these videos.

In a universe without chaos the logicians would be in the right but the imaterium, in it's mind sundering horror, IS real in the WH40K galaxy, so without the unifying force of the imperial cult powering the avatar of the god emperor's soul in the warp humanity would be easy prey indeed for the denizens of the cursed realm.

because they are , before the emprorer died he wanted to get rid of religion for without faith you cant have belief in demons and thus it would have actually weakened the warp and those that serve it. The problem is there method of doing so...its akin to evil in and of itself if i am not mistaken.

@once upon a death The age of strife would have permanently crippled or erased humanity had our holy emperor not acted. Though he may be a god he is not perfect and that makes it up to us support him in his journey to help humanity attain its birthright. For if the emperor protects us, who protects the emperor? Do not be swayed by xenos ways, have faith in your emperor. Horus was a noble warrior until he was tainted by chaos. It is the ruinous powers of chaos that are to blame for all of humanities real woes. You are right, humanity has turned from its god and as a result our glorious emperor was forced to ascend the golden throne. Your mind has been warped by the xenos. If horus had faith there would be no heresy......

@once upon a death Have you actually read the books? The heresy series is pretty good sci fi writing (assuming you already know about wh40k tech, primarchs, government, etc.) Wh40k is no ones wet dream. Just because people like conan the barbarian, doesn't mean they actually want to live his life.

Have you ever spent time going over the individual segmentums? which is which? What systems battles and lore are there? before and after the galactic split? ---My army's fluff reside primarily in the Macharius pilgrimage route within the segmentum pacificus. The Sabbat wars were there. as is Krieg. etc etc. thought id ask.

Guys, please do something more than reading the wikia page 99% word-for-word,. You used to take all the lore and info and present it well. Now, you are just basic servitors with text-to-speech functionality.
