Hi Glynnis, we are a few weeks behind or at least we were on vlogs so next week you see us finally leave the marina although reality is we have been out and about now about a week and are loving it. About to tackle my first lock today 🤪

Your boat does not look like any other on the inside right down to the bow. You have both certainly made it personal to you. Well done. Im sure you will makes some tweaks and adjustments as you live aboard on the cut. But you are starting out with what suits you, not fitting yourselves into someone else’s design. BTW the only design choice I am not fond of is the narrow entrance between the bedroom and bathroom, cos I would be bumping into things all the time.😉

Thanks Susan, we love it and yes I'm sure your right, we will change things, add things etc as we move around. The bedroom walkway is narrow but we have got used to it now, although we sometimes forget when trying to carry larger items through it and have to take it out off boat and round instead 🤣

Rename the dog (Nickname)..... Ernie the grass haha :) Great vlog as always, the bow looks amazing! If the engine is overheating Paul bleed the skin tank to get the air out you should see a bleed nut on the top of it, just like a radiator. after checking the thermostat of course.

*Kia ora (hello) Liz, Paul & Ernie, Ohhh no not engine issues, when you were so close to leaving the marina.. I hope you got it all sorted and it wasn't too costly. I just replaced the fuel-cock on my motorbike.. was having a few drops of petrol leaking... $nz136 later for the whole unit and it had to be shipped all the way from Japan to NZ... vroooom vroom no more leaks.*

@@uponreflection *I'm waiting to hear of the first time that Ernie poops on the green 'grass'... lol. Plus of course of you sailing away from the marina. Yeah it is the last of the changing over things on this particular motorbike... 2001 model... hardly ridden & then it sat for the last 11 years until I got it last NZ winter in May 2022 still in perfect condition. Got it back on the road within a couple of months... only had 3,800kms on her dial.... now it has 10,500kms.*

Hi Gary. We used Phil specialist electrical. We had solar fitted by him quite some time ago I think around 900watts I think, he came back this time to fit something to our emersion so the solar can be used to heat the water too.

Hi there. He doesn't, he's can't walk on it at all. I have to carry him on and off boat. Some boaters have put fake grass on the grate but seeing as we aren't permanently moored there and are going out continously cruising we never bothered.😀
