One thing that makes me so relieved, is I was like most of these horrible things all thanks to the media, wanting views, neglecting Salah, pushing away my family, just a year ago, heck just a few months ago, but Alhumduallah, Alhumduallah, ALHUMDUALLAH, Allah has guided me, guided me to the right path, I pray, I dress modestly and without internally actually longing to dress like the other girls, I read quran, I realized the only one to depend on is Allah, I'm closer to Allah SWT, and I'm so grateful for that, SOO grateful

Few habits you should have: 1- tahajjud prayer 2- Pray 2 rakah fajr sunnah from home then leave to offer fard. After fard recite Quran and when sun rise sit and do dhikr till ishraq. 3- after every Fard namaz Recite 33 time Allah huakbar, 33 time subhan Allah, 33 timee Alhamdulillah and 1 time 4th kalima and Recite ayatal Qursi as it will protect you from entering hell fire if died before next salah. 4- Recite surah kahf on every friday. 5- Recite surah Mulk, Surah Sajdah and last two ayah of Surah Baqrah. 6- Give chariry daily even it is few penny. 7- Stay obidient to your parents. 8- Do not cutoff relationship with your relatives and neighbours. 9- Pay all your debts 10- Return all amanah to its owner if is held with you. 11- Reconcile with everyone whole you have bad relation. 12- Seek forgiveness from anyone whom you hurt in the past. 13- Leave everything which is haram. Etc If you follow these points then in sha Allah you will be at ease on the day of Judgement.

Staying at home and out of the way of fitnah has been my greatest defense mechanism for the past decade. I try my level best to never allow myself to enter places that Allah wouldn't be pleased with me being in, and staying out of sight and out of range of zina, alcohol, drugs, bad company, etc has been my saving grace. SubhanAllah, its such a boring life to live for a young man like myself, but I seek Allah's Jannah and don't want to be caught up in the worldwind that the people of the left are going to be caught up in when the time finally comes.

I do not know about Western countries but it is not too late to change. Children are taking parents for granted and expecting them to look after and take care of their children while they go to work. A slight mistake or forgetfulness will have the parents facing a barrage of vocabulary. The parents who try to live independently are accused of being selfish and not extending a helping hand. Most parents who have reached old age and have become defacto caretakers of grandchildren wish they had died a long time ago.
