This has to be one of my favorite designs for a small home, ever. Small tweaks, it would be perfect. Though I no longer own lake property, this would have been ideal on my former little plot. A wonderful home to retire to.

The entry is quite spacious, though the living room is a bit snug. The kitchen is also rather small, though there is a pantry closet off the living room. The laundry room is logically near the bedrooms! However, the lack of a second toilet would be a deal-breaker for me.

Love the outside of the house and the 3 season porch. I also like the bedrooms separated from the living area. IMO however, the inside has a manufactured construction feel to it. The walls look cheap and the whole right side just doesn't flow well for me.

Make the kitchen wall flush with the bedroom walls and try to carve out a better eating area. As a retiree who lives in a country with long winters, I need a normal height dining table inside. Island height seating is so annoying and uncomfortable. I was prepared to lose that 3 Feet of sunroom, but you can still just push it out a further 3 feet. Build a vertical book shelf and get rid of the horizontal one behind the couch. That may give more floor space to play with.

I like everything about this small home. I would only change the hard corners entering bedrooms. Maybe rearrange the closet spaces to avoid the hard corners entering bedrooms. ??? 😊

I love the screened-in porch. I don't like the angle and pitch to the roofs on two different levels. I never like it when there's not room for a table for dinner and the creator just makes it where there's an island with an extended top on it and high level stools to set at to eat at.The entire center of the house could be changed just a little Bit too allow there to be at least a half Bath in that center section for visitors and things.

No to one bathrroom homes and to the pantry in the living room. Also no to the bedrooms sharing a wall. TV on in one room would disturb people in the other bedroom. Other than that, nice house.

But where are the electrical outlets. I saw none in bathroom or laundry room! That’s where I would need them plus various other locations in the house.
