From month long water fights in Thailand for Songkran 2024, over 400 foreigners arrested in Phuket and certain crimes on the rise in Pattaya. It has been a pretty wild week in the world of Thailand. as someone that has been in the military with other americans in different countries, yeah many americans will have this mindset that they expect the same in the america as in a foreign country. also yes in some parts of america, the lao/thai temples will coordinate when one temple will conduct their event and shut down after so the other temples can have their event without causing a competition.

Pretty vague when it comes to exact charges from what I've found. But a lot of it seems to be with theft of services type stuff, skipping out on bar bills etc. As well as a decent amount of disorderly conduct type situations.

I was there last July for 2 weeks..rained a couple days during the evening..not busy really at all!

I had my best holiday ever in pattaya I avoided the sausage factory bars and went to bars with lots of women and enjoyed there company no fights just fun😊 !

I gotta cave and shift it off the 69, sorry dude. I know it's uncool of me to do so, I'm so immature haha. But on the message of today's video. I think they should be even more strict. I think ALL holiday destinations should be. People do stuff in these holiday destinations that they would NEVER do back home, because, "yolo". I want the government's messaging to be, "Come here, be respectful, have a great time, , enjoy our country and our culture, but if you fuck around, you will righteously find out, and we're not talking a slap on the wrist!"
