Hi all! 400 km/h on electric power! All thanks to the ingenious aerodynamics of the new generation electric motorcycle! The big hole motorcycle is a new concept of a tunnel running along the entire length of the motorcycle, reducing the drag coefficient by 70%! More details in the story. Creates front wheel down pressure, therefore better traction, so it can have 2 wheel drive. Whole new handling characteristics.

Problem with motorcycle aero via tunnels and front-wheel downforce strategies is that it doesn't really work as effectively when turning and efficacy varies based upon the turning angle (even at constant speed). Not exactly a risk you want on the bike, hey? But then again, people have put turbos on Busas and that's even more problematic when taking turns. So WTF do I know?! You go, queens!!

Riding position based on the R6? The rider on this electric bike has their legs doubled up till their lower leg is horizontal. That is not at all conventional even on race bikes. Wheel base looks very long I wonder how it corners. I'm sure it is very fast and stable in a straight line.

The greatest drawbacks it could encounter are the wheel diameter, as it could never be able to compare with the other rivals, the second is it'll never come in a gas powered two wheel motorcycle, they either have to compromise on the tunnel or increase the height which will encounter another challenge on the law of physics Overall I highly appreciate their innovation plus I'm glad the other motor giants had never come up with the idea first 🥇

I'm intrigued, kinda want one, and with all that unused space you can experiment with other additions. You can have a series of mini wind generators to regenerate energy to increase range. You can add an electric or combustion turbine because, reasons... and for inner city driving you could plug the tunnel and use it for storage. Imagine that, you could get a weeks worth of groceries home on two wheels...

Interesting but pointless at the same, what we need is a breakthrough with battery technology, lightweight so the motorcycle doesn't weights more than the ICE equivalent and more energy dense so there will be no more range anxiety, until then the ICE will remain.

I think electric is BEST suited for motorcycles, specifically dirt bikes and Motocross bikes. EV on the road is dangerous as cars can't hear you when they already can hardly see you? Stripping away your sensory presence on the tarmac = recipe for death
