Brother that is Mesopotamian civilisation, older than the Egyptian pyramids and worlds first civilisation. How fascinating to watch these ruins. I think their government hasn’t really invested much for tourism in these areas. Like Egypt who have many tourists going there. As they say, if you want to know a country, travel to that place. Abar's blog is breaking the all wrong notions about the Iran and Iraq. I have travelled and stayed in these two countries. Both these places and there people are good. Those who talk bad about India or Pakistan must visit and get the feel personally. I am a proud India and assure all the people that it is one of the safest place to visit. This part of the journey was tough. Riding through a cold dusty terrain with frequent army and police checkposts is indeed irritating. The police surveillance perhaps exists because of the volatile situation. Anyway,to have the opportunity of visiting the relics of one of the oldest civilization in the world was a welcome one. I love how laid back you. I am also getting an authentic (real) feeling of these places by how you record your travels and share your honest, on-the-spot commentary. It’s not the typical KZfaq vlogger who overhypes or exaggerates experiences. I also love that you requested prayers for your trip (showing devotion & dependence on a god - and I say this even as a non-Muslim). So far, so good 👍
